    Hey all,

The team is aware of the War Story rewards not unlocking for some and is still continuing it's investigation for a fix. We do have a workaround below that helps grant the rewards to players. If the workaround below does not successfully grant it to you, please contact our Live-Support so they can assist you further.

    War story rewards unlocks

To earn a unique melee weapon or tank skin for completing a War Story, you need to master all its challenges and collect all letters. Sometimes the Overview in the War Stories menu doesn’t match the breakdown you can see in Acts or Letters. For example, you may see 6/6 Letters in the Overview but only see 3/6 when you look under Letters. If these totals don’t match, you don’t get your reward.

We have a workaround for you to try:

First, exit out of Battlefield V if you’re playing.

Next, make a note of the challenges or records that are missing – you’ll need these later. Then:

    On PC
    1. Turn off Cloud Saves in Origin.
      • Open Origin’s Application Settings.
      • Click Installs & Saves.
      • Under Cloud Storage, toggle the slider to 0.
    2. Rename your Battlefield V settings folder.
      • Find the Settings folder inside the Battlefield V folder in My Documents.
      • Rename it to something like Settings_old.
    3. Launch Battlefield V and play the War Story again – making sure to catch the “missing” letters and challenges this time.
      • Once there are no gaps in the record you should get your reward.
    On PlayStation 4
    1. Open your Settings menu.
    2. Go to Application Saved Data Management.
    3. Choose System Storage.
    4. Select Delete.
    5. Choose Battlefield V and pick the files you want to delete or use Select all to delete all Battlefield V save files.
    6. Select Delete again and hit OK to confirm.
    7. Go to Online Storage.
    8. Choose Delete.
    9. Choose Battlefield V and pick the files you want to delete or use Select all to delete all Battlefield V save files.
    10. Select Delete again and hit OK to confirm.
    11. Launch Battlefield V and play the War Story again – making sure to catch the “missing” letters and challenges this time.
      • Once there are no gaps in the record you should get your reward.
    On Xbox One
    1. From Home, select My Games & Apps.
    2. Highlight Battlefield V and press the Menu button on your controller.
    3. Select Manage game and add-ons.
    4. Scroll down to Saved Data.
    5. Highlight the saved data for your Gamertag and press the A button on your controller.
    6. When you’re asked to confirm, choose Delete Everywhere to remove your game data from the cloud, your console and any other console you play on.
    7. Launch Battlefield V and play the War Story again – making sure to catch the “missing” letters and challenges this time.
      • Once there are no gaps in the record you should get your reward.

@EA_Blueberry When I do as you describe the letters don't 'reappear.' In fact, none of the achievements can be replayed. Deleting (moving) the settings folder only seems to reset the story progress but leaves the achievements as 'completed.' I have even deleted the settings folder, turned off cloud save and then disconnected from the Internet. At this point I am thinking the bug 'fix' that was supposedly done included moving the achievements out of the settings folder.

My question to you is this: Assuming you have access to the game on PC, are you able to delete the settings folder and 'force' the game to let you collect letters again?
