Re: The Game Crashes all the time after the latest patch with DXR and DLSS ON

After spending over an hour with 2 different EA Advisers I didn't get anything that isn't there in this forum. Can't blame them as I'm pretty sure they don't have a manual on how to fix it yet. In the meanwhile if you can't get past splash screen do the following.

1. Open Geforce Experience and go to Battlefield 5. 

2. Click the spanner icon to open custom settings. (screenshot below)

3. Drag the slider completely to the left for max performance. This will turn off DLSS and DXR. Click Apply.

4. Now open the game and it should run fine. Adjust your graphics settings to your liking and wait for Dice to fix this issue till you re-enable DXR & DLSS.

MB: Asus Strix Z370-E Gaming 
CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K
Video: RTX 2080 FE @ 418.91
Memory: GSkill Trident Z RGB 16GB DDR4 3000Mhz 
Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU with GSync 27.0" 
PSU: CM MasterWatt 750 W 
SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB

HDD: Some old 500GB Segate expansion drive I pulled out from the case and stuffed in the PC
OS: Windows 10 x64 Pro 1809 (build 17763.292)

DICE is becoming a joke. Releasing stuff without testing. Its a minority of people that are having this issue, mostly because its a minority of people that actually bought an RTX GPU. This is what we get when we buy new technologies. 

Also, BFV is already a joke, the game is beautiful, but lacks content, its boring, the campaign is short and boring, multiplayer is plagued with cheaters, bugs, glitches, even major youtube streamers are sick of BFV. 

I don't my comments does not help anyone here, but please remember it next time DICE/AE releases a new game. Just wait 6 months, you will pay 60% less. Don't follow the hype. 

Crashing and stutters still occur with BFV March 5TH update and 419.35 Nvidia driver.

In case,nothing helps you solve this and you get to the BIOS reset solution,reset it and then go back and play with RTX and DLSS on and check if still crashes.
