I am not so sure about that, as all of the latest triple AAA games are being price cut to get them off the shelves - (with the exception of Red Dead 2). I suspect this Christmas could start a change, most of the people I play BF with are not playing, and many haven't bought it, or CoD. So therefore both of those titles could be marginally down on expected sales. 

I think BFV is suffering from a Star Wars BF2 hang over and agree a years delay with a new DLC for BF1 would have probably saved the day, and the bugs.

I have complained about how broken the tides of war tasks are, and haven't the stomach for week 4 - only first the one unlocked after I wrestled the game, the other just won't record correctly so I eventually gave up and complained. 

I am now looking forward to Resident Evil 2 remastered in late Jan at which point I will make a decision about ditching this or not - which gives EA/Dice 4 weeks to save my vote. 

When they announce the next BF title, I will not be a day one adopted, and will wait until it is several months in to see how things went.
