@PieceOfBread142 At first try to Unplug the modem and router power for at least 3 minutes.
It's possible you have some ports closed off that need to be opened in your router's admin settings. Here are the port numbers for Battlefield V
https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/.
Also, please try disabling your antivirus/firewall, at least long enough to test. If it helps, you can set exceptions for Origin.exe and BFV.exe. Please also either disable Windows Defender or set the same exclusions.

I don't work for EA. I'm just trying to help fellow gamers with their issuses.I've been having the same problem for months constant disconnects from the EA servers mid game it is beyond pissing me off, I'm so * angry. I have uotrace. HELP ME FFS EA!!! i'M SICK OF THIS *.
My problem is the same disconnecting from EA Servers but on Xbox one.
@danukips
Looking at your UOtrace, you are having some bad issues.
You need to contact your Internet Service Provider and explain your issues.Hey Plucky I did I even told them I had that uotrace to show the problem and the dozy cow just said try using different ethernet cable and turn it off and on again then try it and obviously cus the problem is one where I have to load up bfv and play for a bit to see if it worked I can't stay on the phone and needless to say THAT DIDN'T WORK! I'm trying port forwarding. I already have most of the ports open from when I opened my NAT all except for one port which is 3544 UDP. What IP address am I supposed to use when I create this rule? The same as the others or just make up a new one? I followed a guide before and they said to make it all 100 is this the same or shall I do 140? Thanks.
PLEASE SOMEONE FROM EA ANSWER
wHAT KIND OF COMPANY IN THIS DAY AND AGE DOESN'T HAVE A CHAT SERVICE!!!
I'm sick o seeing thread after thread marked as resolved when it clearly is not * resolves. DO YOUR JOB AND RESOLVE IT EA.
wHAT ELSE CAN i DO EXCEPT SIT HERE AND GET ANGRIER AND ANGRIER THE LONGER YOU TAKE TO ANSWER ME. MONTHS I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS *, I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!
I want nothing more than to go and chill out and play FF7 a game that ACTUALLY * WORKS. I streamed it for hours earlier with no drop. not once. Jump on your stupid game and get disconnected 4 times in 3 games, you're a * joke now. I used to love this franchise but you've killed it. You should be ashamed of yourselves shipping this as a TRIPLE A game you * scam artists.
There is a port forward guide somewhere for BFV.
Here is it.

If that doesn't work, I hate to say it, but you will need to keep on your ISP, since they are the ones that controls the route of internet to the servers.
I had the same issue you are having now, back in Battlefield 4, took about 4 months of fighting with my ISP before they finally did something.Glitch after glitch, terrible menu system where I can't even * change assignments between games. The longest load times in 2020, graphics don't even load in properly EVER at the start of the game everyone is sliding around completely destroying the immersion. Random disconnects from the servers, completely turning off the console, dashboarding the game, shall I go on? it is a * laughing stock of a game. PISSTAKE THAT YOU ARE STILL CHARGING FULL PRICE.
yES BUT THE FACT REMAINS THAT IT ONLY HAPPENS ON ea SERVERS. Every other game is fine so how is it the ISPs fault?
Looking at your UOtrace again, I see what the issue with that trace was.
You were pinging a route to a server in the US, when you are from the UK.
Can you do a UOtrace to an UK EA server, preferably a BFV IP address?
The reason why I suspected your ISP was the problem was a few thing.
Your traceroute looked just like mine did, bad hops/lost packets.
I only had issues with Battlefield 4, no other game.
It took my ISP 4 months to finally admit they were the reason for my issues and fix the issues.
They had bad nodes on their network, on the path of connecting me to the EA servers for BF4.
I ended up getting free internet for 6 months to make up for the horrible service I was receiving
Have not had any issues since for any online game via PC or PS4.How do I do a UOtrace to a UK EA server, preferably a BFV IP address? I don't even understand it I just did it cus it was a troubleshooting step.
Ah, derp, forgot UO stands for Ultima online.
From what I have been able to find, 35.158.127.192 would be the IP for PC servers in Germany.
Probably the same location for Xbox 1 servers, so give it a try.
Click the Options menu at the top of the window, then click Advanced.
Type in that IP.- The UO Trace connects to a server in our network that's low traffic, it's sole purpose is to test your overall connection to our network; it is not to test your connection to FIFA.

I'm trying the IP you gave me anyway, will send the txt file when it's done. here's the results...
That trace looks really good.
Hops are all acceptable, the only packet loss is due to those nodes refusing to be pinged, which is a normal thing
Will rule out your ISP being the main cause.
Lucky you, that should save you the headache I had to deal with fighting my my provider.
Doing more reading into your issues, I have noticed it is more common with Xbox 1 players for some reason, regardless of region.
Hmm.
Might be the way the Microsoft handles connections through their platform?
I will suggest, that the next time you want to play BFV using your XBox 1, to turn off the power completely, wait until it is all the way shut off.
Then unplug it for a few minutes.
Reconnect, start up BFV first thing, see how it plays, or if you have better results.I had a feeling it wasn't my ISP because I got through a 7-hour stream on PS4 with no drops in my connection yesterday. The problem isn't Xbox live neither, because I stay on Xbox live when it happens, I just specifically lose connection to EA servers, so it's EAs fault right? I contacted EA somehow, I can't remember how I think a previous guy like you sent me a link to a chat section that's very hidden on this site. Anyway, after doing the trace I originally sent you they said it's not their end and it's my ISPs fault. So they just passed the buck when it's clearly them. I'm sick of this man, I've been a loyal fan since Bad Company 2 and I'm treated like this. Another thing is my Origins account signs me in on Battlefield fine but when I try to find my Gamertag on the site it's not there. I can't find my Battlefield games? I think it might be because I used an older email I no longer have access to. Someone hacked my account and changed my password and I haven't been able to get into that email address for years. Would that be the problem? If I try what you said and it doesn't work what can I do? Thanks for your help.
That did not work, any other ideas I want to play the game but I can't, I even started a youtube channel based on Battlefield V mainly and can't make videos cus they all get cut off half way through the game. I'm close to leaving this game and never buying it again, taking my friends that played it with me to another game aswell. Probably COD, even though I like BF better, that's how much this game is pissing me off.
If it was solely 100% EA's fault, then 100% of XBox players in your region would have the issue.
That is what is hard about troubleshooting this issue.
Most players do not have it, and the ones that do appear to be a higher rate of them Xbox players, or they seem to be the ones that report it more often.
That first UOtrace, no wonder they thought it was your ISP fault, I did too, those hops were horrible, lol.Do you play with the network stats turned on?
Will be a stat bar displayed at the bottom of your screen.
If not, turn it on, and if you could, save the video and upload it, starting a minute before the disconnetion, I would not mind seeing it, if that is not too much trouble.
Hell, if you could get more than one video, that would be even better.
I also started in Bad Company 2, been a fan ever since.
Not sure about the Origin thing. Sorry.I did that a few nights ago. I'll see if I can find it.
A friend said I should put the graph on while I stream so I did here. My stream keeps dropping before it happens so I haven't been able to get it on film, unfortunately, these are the sessions where it has happened recently. https://mixer.com/TruNemesisPrime?vod=6FMade_iSkalgcbxoEAKPw shortly after this video.
Also they tell you here https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/ to try a specific server and if you're saying it's in America then obviously it's going to have high ping! It's a pointless test.
