Round never loading

I can no longer get Operation Underground to load.
Playing on PS4 Pro, NA EAST or NA WEST servers, does not matter which game mode.
I can not join directly, or if it is the next map in the rotation, it is a never ending loading screen with the "loading screen messages" scrolling past.
Been like this for a week now,
But yeah, I tired Breakthrough, Conquest, Team Deathmatch, none of them work for Operation Underground.
I know the rounds are being played, as I can see other peoples stats for that match, so I know it is not everyone affected.
This is the only map I can not currently play, as far as I am aware.
Connection is fine, as I have zero issues loading/playing any other map/mode combination.
Already did a uninstall-restall/restore license/rebuild database/you name it I did it.

Please Advise?

    Update time.
    Uninstalled BFV again.
Went to restart my PS4 Pro, it didn't want to boot up, finally resulting in the dreaded cannot "detect the Hard Disk Drive" error.
Put in the original 1TB drive that came with the Pro, updated BFV, was able to successfully load up Breakthrough Operation Underground.
Meaning that my harddrive failing, is what was preventing Operation Underground for loading for me?
    I don't know, probably?

So the good news is I can play the map again, the bad news is, I am limited to the 1TB storage and default drive speed of the Pro's original drive.
With the PS5 right around the corner, not worth it to get another bigger drive, I do not play most of the games I had downloaded anyways.
Is concerning though, since that is the 2nd of that model drive that has failed for me in the past 6-7 months.
    Hmm...

It is really strange that it would only be happening on that specific map.

If it was an issue with the game data itself I would think that reinstalling should fix the problem, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Did this just recently start happening? You were able to play on Operation Underground without any problems before now?

  • I was able to play Operation Underground, until about a week ago or so..
July 13th was the date of the last round I played on that map, so sometime between then and about a week ago?, it started happening.

  • Well that's an odd one. Don't have any suggestions I'm afraid, just wanted to say I hope you get it fixed.

*Edit: Actually I do have a potentially useless question: have you tried an EU server? I would guess it'll be the same but thought I'd ask.

Does sound like that might have been the cause. It's unfortunate but, silver linings, at least you can play the map again.

It's weird how these things happen. I've so far not had an HDD die on me but have had three separate Xbox One consoles develop disc drive errors. Before that I had the same disc drive problem on two different Xbox 360s lol.

I'm glad to hear you were able to find out what was causing the issue, though it's definitely rough it came at the cost of a failing hard drive. I've had similar experiences with my PC storage drives as well. Sometimes we just get unlucky when it comes to hardware. ☹️
