Intentional? LOL. That's basically what DICE will start to have to say about all their bugs. They've responded to this bug in the past so it's definitely unintentional. The issue is that it's STILL in the game 6 months after it's been released.
Also - I've had the smoke NOT deploy from medium range.
I get this but usually only on the first attempt.

I got frustrated with it and gave up. I haven't used it in months now.
@GrandDeluxeGamin @1TrashGame I've given up on this game. More bugs than any other BF title ever AND these reports are consistently ignored by DICE/EA so why even bother...
This bug has been in the game since launch - I doubt that they'll ever fix it.
