Spawning on a vehicle

Question

At the moment in Battlefield V we have the option to spawn on vehicles that have a free spot so you jump in the vehicle or when the vehicle is full you spawn outside the vehicle of your squadmate. Now why is there no option to spawn outside the vehicle when it's not full for example when you want to help out and repair your teammate. DICE hasn't fought this trough because now you spawn in the vehicle then you need jump out making yourself vurenable and getting killed when jumping out and then you can start repairing what a bad gameplay mechanic this is. Also maybe you don't want to be top gunner or maybe you wan't to be the inside gunner. Just no choice all forced dicision. Come on DICE get you vehicle spawning better by having us the option where to spawn when spawning on a vehicle.

I agree spawning inside is not always the better choice. But also when you spawn outside you will not always be in the preferred position at that time. So the only solution is to make an advanced system for this new function. Maybe they still except feature requests for this game but i think this overhaul will be a lot to ask of them at this stage. I would advice you to make a feature request for both BFV and all upcoming Dice/BF/SWBF titles yet to be released. Thanks for bringing this up and happy hunting

I've been mentioning this since launch and was finally able to get a decent conversation going with one of the community managers on Twitter.

It's doable in theory, the team would just need to hammer out the button/ui mechanics. I personally prefer holding the exit button at spawn to automatically spawn outside but others had suggested a toggle in the menus and/or custom button mapping.
