In my experience the stationary weapon has to be FULLY DESTROYED before it can be repaired back to full health by a support player. You cannot repair a partially damaged stationary weapon (perhaps by design so that they're not invincible).

Which is why I made this bug report because in other Battlefield games you are able to repair a damaged stationary weapon.

It's intentional by the developers that you have to destroy a stationary weapon in order to build a new one in Battlefield V. Same as sandbag fortifications.

I understand sandbags but why for stationary weapons? You could repair them in BF1. It makes sense to be able to.
