In my experience the stationary weapon has to be FULLY DESTROYED before it can be repaired back to full health by a support player. You cannot repair a partially damaged stationary weapon (perhaps by design so that they're not invincible).

Which is why I made this bug report because in other Battlefield games you are able to repair a damaged stationary weapon.

It's intentional by the developers that you have to destroy a stationary weapon in order to build a new one in Battlefield V. Same as sandbag fortifications.

I understand sandbags but why for stationary weapons? You could repair them in BF1. It makes sense to be able to.

Still has not been fixed.

where did you get that idea from, DICE never intended to this feature where you destroy something to repair it. It is bugged!

Bugged or not, would be good to bring it in as new feature then.
You can repair the canons hitched by cars , but the one build as fortification only when destroyed. - rebuild
