Steam Launcher - Battlefield V won't launch

When I attempt to launch Battlefield V Definitive Edition through the Steam Launcher and click on "Play," a pop-up for the Steam Client Service immediately appears. After accepting this, I encounter a pop-up for EA Anti-Cheat with the message 'EA anticheat installation is required to play this game. Do you want to install it now?' I've installed this repeatedly.

Following that, an EA screen appears with 'Preparing game...'. Subsequently, another Steam Client Service pop-up emerges, and file validation starts in the Steam Launcher. Upon completion of validation, nothing happens, and the process restarts when I press "Play."

This cycle repeats continuously, preventing me from starting the game and leaving me stuck in an endless loop of pop-ups and validation.

@EA_Pulsar All tried nothing works, reinstalled the game itself 7x already. Even customer service couldn't help me and told me to create a topic on this.

And did you use the default installation location on the C drive?

Are there any background applications running on your PC that could interfere with the game or EA Anticheat?

both the steam launcher and battlefield v are installed on my c drive, still as soon as I start the game the EA launcher states with the message ‘Preparing...’ when then automatically the validation starts on steam when after a few seconds the EA screen closes automatically and the validation continues to 100% and after this nothing happens

@EA_Pulsar I start the game when my computer is booted up so no special background process, I have also used a game accelerator that stops unnecessary processes in the background but this too with no result

Here are some other steps we can try in this case.

    • Change the User Access Control settings and see if this will have any impact. Try both settings with Always Notify or Never Notify enabled.
    • Turn Game Mode On or Off.
    • Launch the Steam client, the EA app and the game.exe file as administrator.
    • Use clean boot to launch your PC and test it again.

I have tried everything from the steps, but the problem keeps repeating. However, the problem persists. It must really be a bug in the Steam system or the EA system, because it's definitely not on my end.
