The game loads and plays great. then while the countdown is going on for the next match, or I hit the continue button the game freezes. the icon in the corner of the screen continues to spin like its thinking but nothing happens. I have to alt tab del, leave the game and then restart to play another match just to have to alt tab del again after that match. The game has worked a few times giving me hours of uninterrupted play but 90% of the time I have to leave game and get back in after every match.

its getting tiresome, may have to go play red dead 2 until this is fixed

I've found the fix:
BE AWARE that his will delete your settings you have to customize your key bindings and video settings as you had them if you made changes.

same issue after almost every game im getting the black screen with the icon on the side rolling and nothing happens.. tried to delete settings and that repair didn't help. any other suggestions? ☹️
ya I spoke to soon mine is still doing it also... I may be onto something though. If I close the program Nividea Gefore Experience before the game starts the next match I am able to load the next map. if I leave GeForce experience running I blackscreen or just lockup between matches. I will continue to experiment. I may be deleting that program.
Same problem. Game stalls on the black screen during the transition between days in grand operations. Especially bad for me in the Twisted Steel map - can't get passed the first day without it stalling out during the transition, so have to restart the game. Very frustrating. (Love the game otherwise, Dice.)
Lots of game freezes here. Playing on Xbox and getting freeze when trying to load into a game and getting black screen. Other times when starting a new round the game freezes. Sometimes the map doesn't show but the hud around the screen still shows... sometimes without the Tides of War Tracking. It is very difficult to try to play to earn the Tides of War challenges when you have to keep completely closing out of the game and restarting it. Doing a hard reset on the Xbox hasn't worked either.
no I have a single monitor setup. the whole deal with the NVidia program isn't it either. I don't know still have to alt tab delete out of game 99% of the time. Get lucky now and then and it moves on to the next match, still no word from EA had a similar problem with bf1 after a patch but they fixed it quite quickly.
Second question, do you guys play in borderless windowed? I tried playing couple of rounds in Fullscreen and loaded fine, but it's not really enough for confirmation. I'll play more later.
Ive tried both buddy, made no difference. I haven't had a match yet today this hasn't happened to me.
yep same i have a 144hz monitor and a 60 one and i turn off the 60 one and exit nvidia program i had 5-10 rounds that i could play but i still get the loading screen some times.
my set up is i7-8700k and gtx-1080ti 11G m2 ssd with 250g and 16g ram gskill trident

Make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.
You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield Vand turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.
Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.

Same issue here.... already tried deleting the doc files in C:\Users\********%uname%\Documents\Battlefield V\settings
it worked for a few rounds but now is doing the same thing , i cant belive that EA games still ignoring these post with thousands of players reporting the same issue. It is a shame that a game so expensive was realeased with so many tecnical issues and people paid for premiun access and still ignored , they only come up with stupid trobleshootings.... i am a fan since bf 1942 and this is the worst, broken and poor game ever. very sad and dissapointed.
This is my exact same problem and it sucks because I paid for the deluxe addition to play the game 5 days early and yet it wasn't worth a penny for that deluxe addition. The backing out after every single match is infuriating.
At the time of loading the next map , if anything interrupt the downstream flow ( a term in your network graph) then we will get stuck in loading with double loading logo even a simple packet loss , which by the way happen a lot on these amazon servers , so word to EA/DICE whatever you did to BF1 loading procedure you should replicate it here , even in BETA we did not have these issues and you should not expect a perfect Internet speed for your game to work .
Also why all the servers are in Germany , give us more variety.
And the stupid concept of "Solved" is not going to really solve the problem !! "unplug the other monitor" WHAT ?? , the majority have single monitor ... so NO this problem is not solved .
Dice plese fix or eles iam going back 2 cod I am giving you a nother chance i cant take it any more
