As of late, each battlefield gmae (1, V) proved that as a casual, who don't want to play competitive (aka using only meta guns, even they were never used in the timeperiod) the opportunity for fun and some progress is impossible (esp if you level guns vs the elite gamer's meta setups). Maybe I am wrong, or just so subhuman level on any possible way, that I just genetically unable to be worthy, have fun, I don't know. But if this onseided cyperbulling continues, ppl like me will leave the games for good, and the elite tryhards will have hard time to keep their kd and killstreak high, and less footage for "Trolling worthless noob" for youtube videos.

I absolutely agree on missing server balance is the 2nd major issue next to gaming chair users. However, I tend to disagree reducing it to a casual vs. try-hard situation. Most high skilled players I know (on PC that is) are as much annoyed of unbalanced games as you are. Finishing a round of Conquest with a "low" kill count of something like 30-0 in less than 7 minutes is simply not satisfying for competitive players. I know high skilled players who leave unbalanced rounds and even witnessed some trying to join on the losing team inviting some friends over to balance out. Enjoying an unbalanced victory is rather a semi-skilled player thing.IMO balancing sides is even possible without removing the ability to join on/with friends. There are enough skilled clans playing to balance them and most big communities are willing to split up on 2 sides.On the other hand I often see casuals raging in chat in actually perfectly balanced matches with tight outcome because they can't compete with high skilled players. And as much as I understand and know the frustration when you keep losing 1v1 or even 3v1 situations against a high skilled players, there is no way to balance this out in FPS games. Battlefield is learning, training and mastering to become better than others. Its not a game to please casuals who want to enjoy 2 hours on Sunday afternoon once or twice a month.

For me, playing BF is often rather "training" (yet enjoying) than "entertainment".I record and analyse my gameplay. Talk and play with better players. Learn from their videos.For example, I even set tasks like "this month I force myself to less reload during gunfights because I often get killed while reloading". Therefore I need to know how many bullets I need to kill with a specific gun and how I can optimize it.You get my drift.What I'm saying is that you surly can have fun in BF as casual player but shouldn't look at the game in a competitive way. If you want to win without putting effort in it, then BF might not be the right game to spend your 1 hour a week 🙂

That is all fair and good what you just said but the reality is that there are a lot of average players that like to play this game too. whether that be a talent issue or a hardware issue. What the poster was saying is that there should be more balance to offset all the great players being on one side of the board and just destroying the opposition. So you could easily understand why some people quit in game out of frustration and never wanting to play the game again when this is constantly happening.

So let me get this right. What you are saying is the average player that only has time to play the game a few hours a week and can't put in the hours to learn and become a better player should just find another game to play because this game is not for the casual player and only skilled players who put in thousands and thousands of hours to master the game mechanics etc should play this game?

The problem with this playerbase is theyre too entitled to do whatever they want because they paid for the game, and cry when things dont go their way. They have no desire to improve, so instead they spend their time crying in chat about better players. Why are they better? Time and practice. A surgeon didnt become a surgeon overnight
