EDIT:
If it's possible, could you we get the DxDiag reports from players, who managed to fix the problem with the workaround? We would still like to investigate it further.

No luck for me.
I've updated Windows.
I've tried every option I can in Audio:
- Speakers
- Night Time
- Headphones
- War Tapes
I've tried Surround, Auto, and Stereo for each option above.
I've turned VOIP OFF.
I don't know what else to try at this point.
...Or do I need to start my own thread as this one is marked RESOLVED
