Tides of War/Kill 2 Enemies with V1/JB2 as a squad does not unlock progression

seems now when ever i go into a round it doesnt even show the assignment. Which throws real doubt on to getting credit for any kills

I just had a game where the achievement didn't register ☹️

From the menus, i went to "Play", then "Tides of war" (in the "multiplayer" menus i don't see a "tides of war" option, only specific game modes).
I was squad leader, i got a number of kills... 3 or 4, and a vehicle destroyed too. I was already celebrating with my friends but after the game, i was really disappointed ☹️
Can't let this slide, it's really hard to nail that missile it just right!

I hope it works later, i only have 1 more day to make it ☹️

Well what I noticed is when you get to the game you got the right assignment I got the same problem that I was not register the assignment too I figure out that the game is register the wrong assignment so I force close the game started back up join tides or war and as soon I’m in the game I make sure I had the right assignment on the right hand side corner when I hit start. Hopefully this tip helps a little bit.  That’s how I unlock the helmet

Got exactly the same .... I would expect that everybody should just get the helmet. The mission does not say that the squadleader needs the kills. I also had 3 trys and it never counted. Regardless of whether the game was started from the Tides of War menu or directly via multiplayer. That is just ridiculous from a AAA+ Dev Team... 

about to try it again, fingers crossed

Well i just gave up... this event cost me way too many nerves and caused way too much frustration.
I now have to:
1) get the right map where players bunch up enough for the rocket

2) get squad leadership

3) get a good squad that plays as a team

4) check if the achievement isn't bugged

It just didn't work out. There was always at least one of those problems present though i should have completed the tides of war event by now, multiple times. Especially if the quest DESCRIPTION wasn't faulty ("as squad" as opposed to "as squad leader")

It's not enough to make me quit the game, but it was a very tiresome and disappointing week of BF5... ☹️ 

well now I am up to around 20+ kills over 4 rockets and only 1 kill counted

Can you buy the helmet next week?

I have tried everything I think, I even just had someone promote me to lead so I can drop a rocket which was nice.

Last night i had a four hour session trying to get the Tides of War/Kill 2 Enemies with V1/JB2 completed, i manged 1 kill when i was squad leader that was registered even though more than one kill came up on screen, countless v1/jb2 kills as squad member and the final at least 2kills as squad leader last night before sleep, i was thrilled for the kills to come up from my v1 attack to finish the round and then checked that they were not counted was very dissapointing.

This is very disheartning, trying all week in both click on tides of war button and selecting a match through multiplayer menu to try and finish mission. Theres less than 12 hours left on it and if i get time later i might be able to try again, but i think the gracious thing would be to gift the community this helmet as so many have had issues trying to complete it, it will certainly put people off trying the tides of war again if they are not getting recognition for their actions in the game.
