Unable to 100% Nordlys War story, issues with challenge

Summarize your bug XBOXONE X. I cannot complete the letter challenge on Nordlys. Even though on one point of the summary screen it says I have all the letters, and on another point it falsely says I am missing one. I can see on the forum that this bug has been known for quite some time now. It's annoying as I want to get my unique weapon reward, and at the same time I do not want to delete my current save game and restart. I want a bug fix. When will this bug fix get prioritized and made available ? Thank you.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play WarStory Nordlys and attempt to get all letters.
What happens when the bug occurs? While trying to complete the challenges on Nordlys WarStory
What should be happening instead? I should be able to get all letters and redeem my unique weapon prize

I cannot complete the letter challenge on Nordlys. Even though on one point of the summary screen it says I have all the letters, and on another point it falsely says I am missing one.

    please do try the following:

    1. You would need to move the saved file from the Xbox to a USB stick,
    2. Clear local and cloud saves for BFV. (This wont remove multi player data)
    3. Start the game. You'll have to adjust contrast and play again the intro.
    4. Now, play the War Story and complete the bugged challenge. It will show correctly achieved.
    5. lose the game, and restore the game save files from the USB to the console.
    6. Start the game, and you'll have your reward at the armory.

    Thanks for quick reply.

    To my knowledge, on xboxone you no longer have access to saved games (to copy or move). All saves are in the "cloud".
    One can only delete it.

  • I am not going to delete my progress i ve finished the mission and i wont do it again i wasted so much time ...

    this is insane because this bug is from last year... i ve also encountered other bugs like the enemies were walkin in the air etc.

    i didnt know it was a bug i just wasted all my day to finish the missions that were missing and now i see it doesnt update my progress ....

    Did as EA suggested on their known bugs page; had to delete all my saved data and re-play the ENTIRE war stories campaign again, to no avail? It’s bad enough there’s a bug, but a fix that doesn’t even work? Not only did I have to do that, on Nordlys for example, the orange circle says 12/14 letters, yet at the bottom of the screen at the ‘RESUME, ACTS, LETTERS’ options, it says 11/14? AND when re-playing the act, the letters I’m apparently missing are nowhere to be found in the game?!

    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Look into what I’ve actually completed and what I’m being told I’ve completed
    What happens when the bug occurs? The number of letters I’ve collected is not displayed, in fact, it’s showing 2 different numbers.
    What should be happening instead? The War Stories should be 100% completed

    Hi, 

    So I recently had a conversation with an EA technical support agent who signposted me to creating a post here FAO the community manager. So here goes; I’ve completed BF V. Twice, due to having to delete all my game data and re-play it to collect any ‘missing’ letters as per the ‘known bugs’ section on EA’s page. Now, having done this, I’m still being told that I’ve collected on Nordlys 12/14 letters... but also that I’ve collected 11/14 letters. Similarly with Tirailleur, that I’ve collected 17/17 but also 16/17. Quite frankly it was bad enough having the play the whole damn game again, but now for that fix not to work is pretty infuriating. I’ve tried going in-game to pick up the missing letters on Nordlys... but they aren’t there. Has anyone found an ACTUAL solution for this yet, besides having to replay the whole game again?

    I’ve attached photos for clarification.
