Unable to connect to server and save configuration

So, I tried to play BFV after a couple of days (everything worked fine as of last Friday), and the game behaves like it was just freshly installed, no local config files or anything: it asks me to set screen brightness and audio output, then, after completing or quitting the introductory single-player mission, it's unable to connect to EA servers.

Apparently, I wasn't banned or anything, and the main Origin application connects to EA servers without problems, so what would be the problem here?

Hey @Dzwiedz24  this is normally tied with read & write issues with the Battlefield document folder. Make sure that Battlefield V is whitelisted in any anti virus.

  • Weirder still, this happens every time I start the game, as if it's unable to save a local config file - not only there's no config file left from last week and I have to set controls, video options etc. again, but the situation repeats every time I start the game.

  • @EA_Atic Yeah, it helped. Turned out that after a mishap with SATA cables, Windows labeled the partitions incorrectly and I had to manually edit the paths to My Documents folder. After I did that, everything started working again.
