Vehicle Inventory not showing until weapon/gadget swap. [PS4/v1.16 5/31/19]

Summarize your bug For most or all vehicles, on PS4 multiplayer maps, the weapon inventory or HUD, that shows what weapon you can select and have currently selected, does not show. This is even with the option for inventory, 'Show', is on.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Should be a matter of running the current PS4 version, (1.16 as of 05/31/2019), and going into any vehicle in multiplayer, possibly even in the practice range. Even with the option for the inventory to show, it only shows after you've switched weapon or gadget.
What happens when the bug occurs? The Inventory doesn't show, even with the show option selected.
What should be happening instead? The inventory should load up and show the moment you spawn into the vehicle, without having to swap weapons or gadgets.
So BFV has this great option to have your inventory always showing. This seems to work fine on foot, but when you get into a vehicle, you have to swap a weapon or use a gadget in order to see the inventory. I like to keep tabs on what weapons/gadgets I have on a vehicle, especially as I level them up and I'm not recounting at a glance what I have available, and I often have to use a flare in a plane or swap weapons on a tank to see it.
