VOIP not disabled despite being off in audio menu.

^ no I don't silence individually, as going back into the menu and turning voip on then off again fixes it for that particular session. Problem is that it has to be done each time the game is booted.

Summarize your bug On PS4, turning VOIP off doesn't work. IN BF1, BFV beta and BFV at launch, turning VOIP off muted your squadmates' and your mics. It currently doesn't work in BFV. This is commonly used when you just want to talk to your PS party, and not any random squadmate. I first noticed 1-2 weeks ago, but not sure how long it has been an issue (I do believe it wasn't an issue at launch or in the beta).
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play on PS4 and try turning VOIP off in the settings.
What happens when the bug occurs? You'll still hear the eating and breathing sounds of your random squadmates, unaware that they aren't muted by turning VOIP off themselves.
What should be happening instead? The setting should do what it says.

Please fix this soon, it makes playing in a squad agonizing.

I believe that everybody has this same issue. But as you mentioned as a "work around" you can go in and enable and disable again. Not ideal obviously...

I wonder if it's an intentional feature since this game relies so heavily on squad play they want to try to FORCE you to communicate with your random squad.

Summarize your bug The problem is with the voip setting. If you have this turned off you can till hear players every time a new game loads. You need to go to your settings and toggle it on then back off to turn them off. For some reason when a new game starts you can hear everyone again with the voip still set to off. Because it is off you have no functionality to mute them as if it was on thus every game it you need to re toggle this on and off.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load up a match with the voip in the off position. If your squad mates have mics see if you can hear them. This happens to me in every game.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can hear other people with voip set to off position
What should be happening instead? I should not be hearing other people on my squad.
