We desperately need Rent a Server Program for Battlefield V.

We desperately need RSP Program for Battlefield V.

The issues with Battlefield Servers including the new Community Games update:

1. Community Games are for the sessions only, they die out as players leave.

2. Battlefield V doesn't have an effective Anti-Cheat (Some say there is none at all, in fact most of us)

3. Official DICE servers are not even monitored by Active Admins, they are sitting ducks for hackers/cheaters. Not sure why EA thinks that there are no Hackers/Cheaters.

4. Permanent Ban/Adding Server to Favorites or having a static place where players can build communities is not at all possible today.

5. We can go on and on.

Requesting Members to click "Me Too" if you feel the same or lets just with a painful heart let this game die (which I am sure none of the Players want, its a good game)

The only way today to solve cheater/hacker issues, while there isn't an effective anti-cheat, potentially can be to ensure that we have healthy and active communities, we need a Real Private Server (even if its paid) program. The current Community Games function doesn't help. Kindly listen to us EA DICE.

  • Where are the promised vips? Why can't you move the players? Why can't a server run 24 hours a day

  • The current roll out for BFV servers is a Community Games Free Version, in other words the servers we create are only temporary (nothing is permanent), these custom community game servers would be erased once all players leave the server, it is therefore having VIP slots won't even matter as everything is temporary.

While the above arrangement is for a reason as these servers are free making them permanent would cause a Chaos, imagine all players creating their own servers and keeping it for infinity without even having players. Hence, whatever we have in terms of Community Games is almost good and works out for Session only servers.

Now the question is Why don't we have Dedicated Paid Servers for BFV??

In my opinion creating the backbone for RSP/Dedicated Paid servers would need a lot of efforts and dedication from developers, which to be honest won't help much as the player base is already low and further the folks demanding these options are a fraction of it. Moreover, during such a pandemic while there is already a resource struggle, DICE must be focusing on the #NextBattlefield rather than put any further efforts on the Backlogs, which in some way makes sense.

Also, we have this post for RSP/Dedicated servers but it seems not much have clicked "Me Too" here which clearly explains that not many want it. If there is any evidence or statistics which strongly emphasis for this requirement, DICE may even consider it. From how I see it, there are few (too Few) in the community today who even think about it.

IMHO, DICE is on the right path as they should focus on the NextBattlefield rather than try to address a tiny playerbase, eventually to end up not giving justice to larger player base.

The best numbers of players were always where there were reasonable dedicated servers. Why are the player numbers so bad. Because Dice promised a lot and kept little. My servers have been running perfectly for years. And the right community wants to have its own server. But you can continue to lead into the abyss with your ignorant Battlefield. Restarting a server every day is a stupid idea. Everything worked perfectly in the past. Maybe at some point you should listen to people who really have a clue. And not to any Youtubers
