Why are there fewer available servers in Asia?
Players in this community made their own bot that shows which available servers Japan and Singapore get.At 7 p.m. Beijing time, available servers in Japan suddenly plummeted to 20, while those in Singapore dropped to 10.As a result, players couldn't get into new servers. Trying to join a new one would just show “Game connection disconnected.”Here are the available server counts for the past few days and for different times today. All times are in Beijing time to make it easier for me to track the data.
Figure 1 shows the available server counts at 6:41 p.m. Beijing time on October 27.
Figure 2 shows the available server counts at 9:59 p.m. Beijing time on October 27.
Figure 3 shows the available server counts at 10:23 p.m. Beijing time on October 28.
Figure 4 shows the available server counts at 7:01 p.m. Beijing time on October 28.
As the recent data shows, available servers are becoming fewer and fewer. The hours from 6 p.m. to midnight are when Asian players are most active, and this has seriously affected gameplay. Since the number of available servers fluctuates, whenever it drops, a server is very likely to suddenly lose connection.
I don't know what the reason or point of this is. If it's to shrink the player base and cut costs, or just to squeeze players out and push them all toward Battlefield 6, one thing is certain: EA is the worst game company I've ever seen. If they can't solve this problem or offer an explanation, they should put out an announcement as soon as possible so players can decide for themselves whether to keep playing.
