BFV False "AMD Radeon driver version 0.0.0" error (Current driver: 26.5.2)
Hey everyone, I'm getting a startup crash when trying to launch Battlefield V. It throws an error box saying: "Detected AMD Radeon driver version 0.0.0. The required driver version is 16.20.1025 or later." This is a false error. My drivers are completely up to date. I've already tried doing a clean install, but the game still refuses to read the correct version. Here are my specs: Game: Battlefield V GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Driver Version: 26.5.2 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 OS: Windows 11 I’ve attached a screenshot of the error. Thanks in advance for the help!5Views0likes1CommentBF 5... something always went wrong
For a few days now, every time I launch the EA app, the screenshot appears. I restart the app and it lets me log in but then during the game when I select a friend's profile etc... the same screen appears. I also tried to repair the game but it doesn't fix it. I think it's a problem/bug on the EA side Thanks [Moved from BF Franchise IT to BF5 EN, please review the guidelines to find the right language board for your post. Hello, I'm trying to link my EA account to Tracker.gg, but I receive an error message every time I attempt to connect the accounts. I have already contacted Tracker.gg Support, and after investigating the issue, they informed me that the problem appears to be related to my EA account rather than their service. I've also found several discussions online regarding EA usernames, third-party authorization, and account-linking issues, which seem similar to what I'm experiencing. Could you please look into my account and advise me on how to resolve this issue?21Views0likes3CommentsEA Anti Cheat / game crash
For a few weeks now I have had trouble joining or being kicked from BF5. Firstly started with joining game from my Nvidia app, then Steam had issues so I could only join BF5 from EA app. Then after a while I started getting kicked from game. I would join a server on multiplayer and within a minute or so it would crash and take me straight back to Desktop. I tried EA app recovery, integrity of files on Steam and multiple reinstalls - nothing worked. I have also searched and tried umpteen fixes from these Forums and YouTube videos and finally put in a ticket at Nvidia because I thought the problem originated there in beginning. After many to and fro and dxdiag files etc One fixed they said to try was with Easy Anti-cheat. So I deleted it and reinstalled manually ( as recommeded by EA ) and for 1 day everything worked normal. Lauched game from Nvidia app and played fine. But as soon as I shut down my PC and boot up to play the next day, same old problem. I checked Windows secure boot and it is enabled and have just done a Windows Fix. Again problem still here. Has anyone had the same issues ? Or know of a fix ? I really don't understand EA Anti cheat. I read about multiple players having issues across all sorts of games yet every game I play on BF6, BF5, HLL etc I still come across cheaters and hackers. So whats the point in the program ? Hello everyone, for the past few days (around 3–4 days in my case), I’ve been unable to send messages in the Battlefield V in-game chat. Detailed behavior: The in-game chat window is visible and can be opened normally I can see messages from other players I can type text into the chat input However, my own messages do not appear in the chat and seem not to be sent at all So this is not a complete chat outage or a UI issue, but specifically a problem where outgoing messages are not transmitted, even though the chat itself is working. At this point, it seems unlikely that this is related to individual community servers. Instead, it appears to be a technical issue on EA’s or the client’s side. A possible connection to the chat or profanity filter system is noticeable: Changing my player name allowed me to use the chat briefly After restarting the game, the issue returned I’m aware of multiple other players currently experiencing the same problem This also affects players with completely neutral, non-offensive names If there have been recent changes to the chat or filter system, they may currently not be functioning correctly and could be unintentionally blocking legitimate players. My questions: Are other players experiencing this issue as well? Are there any known workarounds on the player side? Or is this clearly an EA / DICE issue that requires a server- or client-side fix? Thanks for any feedback or shared experiences. Best regardsSolved3.8KViews30likes119CommentsUnreasonable ban on BFV
Hello, this morning I received an email saying that I was banned from BFV for improving the game system. This happened once a few months ago and not just me, but several thousand people. That's why I would like it to be checked and my account unbanned.Solved215Views1like12CommentsMy account was blocked by mistake
Hello EA Support, I would like to request a manual review of my Battlefield V ban. The game was purchased legitimately on my personal EA account, and I only started playing recently. I was surprised to receive a permanent ban for alleged gameplay modifications. I have never used cheats, hacks, scripts, macros, or any software intended to gain an unfair advantage in Battlefield V. The only software I normally use is NVIDIA Overlay. I also have MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner installed on my PC for hardware monitoring, but they were not running while I was playing the game. Because I have not used any cheating software, I believe this ban may have been issued in error. I respectfully request a manual investigation and review of my account activity. I only played 4hours I was banned Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, [King4Game]Solved274Views2likes13CommentsServers are (almost) unplayable: lag + stuttering
On top of the ongoing chat bug (for well over 3 weeks now, basically nobody can type/send messages), there’s a new major issue since the last 1–2 days: the servers are almost unplayable. What’s happening: heavy lag constant stuttering / hitching during gameplay This is not limited to one region — it affects both EU and Asian servers, and it happens on community servers as well as official DICE servers.9.5KViews55likes159CommentsBattlefield V suddenly stopped working – launch failures and freezes
Battlefield V was working perfectly fine for months, then suddenly it started failing to launch with the “An error on our end caused the launch to fail” message. After several attempts, the game now freezes during loading or gameplay and sometimes causes full system hangs requiring a restart. I already tried: Repairing the game Reinstalling EA AntiCheat Clearing EA App cache Updating and rolling back NVIDIA drivers Disabling DX12 Restarting services and system The issue started recently and I noticed many players reporting anti-cheat and server issues in Battlefield V lately. Please investigate if there is a backend or anti-cheat related problem affecting the game.63Views0likes1Comment
