Battlefield 5 Slow Startup and Long Loading Time
Update (Edited: 06-08-2025): Even BF6's open beta loads fine on the same PC—just 50 seconds from clicking "Play" to reaching the main menu. Update (Edited: 30-07-2025): Performed a clean reinstall of Windows 11 and the game still takes over two minutes to load. A friend of mine with a different setup is experiencing the same issue. I suspect the problem is related to the anti-cheat or the game itself. I’ve attached a screen recording to this forum post showing the problem, including an on-screen stopwatch and Task Manager for reference. Original Post: For EA Staff & Devs Bug Report ID: 6ad91d36-9f32-4e49-98f0-e1c42c510896 Help Case ID: #215668482 I recently updated the BIOS and Windows on my laptop. Everything seemed to be running smoothly—until I noticed that launching BF5 now takes significantly longer than it used to. Only BF5 is affected, I timed it with a stopwatch and the startup consistently takes around 2.5 minutes. The other games' load time from pressing play till it enters full-screen are: BF3 = 12 Seconds BF4 = 16 Seconds BF1 = 40 Seconds Issue description: After clicking Play in the EA App, the EA Anti-Cheat launches and initializes normally. Once the Anti-Cheat finishes, there's a 30-33 second delay before the game window appears. The game remains in small window and shows a black screen for another 50-60 seconds. Eventually, the game maximizes into a full-screen window and loads the title screen. Once fully open, the game runs fine, except it loads map extremely slowly as well. Here's what I've tried so far: Confirmed that Windows and NVIDIA drivers are fully up to date. Repaired, reinstalled, and cleared the cache for both the EA App and BF5. Ran both the EA App and BF5 with administrator privilege and in offline + clean boot. Ran both the EA App and BF5 on a different SSD, ensure SSD firmware are up to date. Performed a reinstall of the NVIDIA driver using DDU; cleared DirectX and NVIDIA GL caches. Reinstalled Windows using the "Fix problems with Windows Update" in-place upgrade. Reset BIOS to default settings, did a CMOS reset too. Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue, and I’m starting to run out of ideas. Has anyone else experienced this? I’d appreciate any tips or suggestions. For reference (especially if any DICE developers are reading this), here’s the BIOS update I installed: https://support.hp.com/nz-en/drivers/swdetails/omen-by-hp-16.1-inch-gaming-laptop-16-k0000/model/2101129710/swItemId/ob-348379-1 I’ve also attached my DxDiag file to this post in case it’s helpful.2.2KViews7likes9CommentsAppeal account player_Lay wrongly sealed - Case No #230729237
Dear EA Review Team: Hello! I am Lay (EA ID: player_Lay), a loyal Battlefield player, and I am formally appealing the wrongful ban of my account. My case (Case No. #230729237) is currently in the "Waiting for Studio" status, which has been in place for half a month. My account was banned because the system detected "cheating behavior," but I have never used any cheats or third-party software. It's possible that my account was stolen after I played at an internet cafe. I don't have my own computer and frequently play at internet cafes. Furthermore, I checked my match history before the ban and found records that weren't mine. I only play on private servers, but I had match history on the official server before the ban. Reviewers can easily see from my match history that I have never played on the official server because I know many people use cheats there. Therefore, it's impossible for me to have used cheats to play on the official server. I am not only a long-time Battlefield player but also a loyal supporter of EA games. I have always abided by the game rules and upheld fair competition. This ban has left me deeply confused and aggrieved. I would never ruin my cherished game account for a moment's pleasure. I earnestly request the review team to review my match history and reassess the ban decision based on the actual circumstances. I understand the importance of anti-cheating systems, but I also believe that the systems may make incorrect judgments. As a rule-abiding player, I am willing to actively cooperate and provide any necessary information. Thank you for taking the time to process my appeal; I look forward to your reply. Wishing you success in your work!Solved52Views0likes2CommentsMadsen MG Mastery VI missing after restart – gold parts locked
Hello. I have an issue with the weapon mastery progression for the Madsen MG in Battlefield V (Support class). I completed Mastery I–V, and I have already unlocked the Gold Receiver and Gold Stock. However, the remaining gold parts (Gold Muzzle, Gold Barrel and Gold Magazine) are still locked. Earlier, the Madsen MG Mastery VI assignment appeared for me. I activated it and started progressing it. After restarting the game, the Mastery VI assignment completely disappeared. It is not in my active Assignments, it does not appear under Special Assignments, and only the Proficiency assignment for the Madsen MG is available. I have already tried removing all active Assignments, changing servers and regions, playing with another Support weapon (KE7) and completing its Mastery tasks, returning to the Madsen, making kills and finishing full rounds, restarting the game and the EA App. Nothing worked. Mastery VI never appears again. This means the mastery progression for the Madsen MG is stuck in a broken state on my account. Could you please help by either resetting the Mastery progression for the Madsen MG, so that Mastery VI becomes available again, or manually granting the missing gold parts (Gold Muzzle, Gold Barrel and Gold Magazine). Platform: PC Thank you.19Views0likes3CommentsJavelin anti cheat encountered an error

EA Javelin Anticheat encountered an error. (7) (2) Internal error #4: C0000210 Or EA Javelin Anticheat encountered an error. (7) (1) Internal error #4: C0000210 If you have the same problem, please leave a comment here! Someone is deliberately closing the question to cover up the fact that the problem still exists. All my Battlefield sets are unusable. The error is from the recent EA Javelin Anticheat update. I only have TPM 1.2 and cannot upgrade to TPM 2.0. My (HP) computer BIOS cannot hide the TPM.42Views0likes2Comments- 7Views0likes0Comments
