Servers are (almost) unplayable: lag + stuttering
On top of the ongoing chat bug (for well over 3 weeks now, basically nobody can type/send messages), there’s a new major issue since the last 1–2 days: the servers are almost unplayable. What’s happening: heavy lag constant stuttering / hitching during gameplay This is not limited to one region — it affects both EU and Asian servers, and it happens on community servers as well as official DICE servers.95Views3likes4CommentsIn-game chat currently not working – possible connection to chat/filter system?
Hello everyone, for the past few days (around 3–4 days in my case), I’ve been unable to send messages in the Battlefield V in-game chat. Detailed behavior: The in-game chat window is visible and can be opened normally I can see messages from other players I can type text into the chat input However, my own messages do not appear in the chat and seem not to be sent at all So this is not a complete chat outage or a UI issue, but specifically a problem where outgoing messages are not transmitted, even though the chat itself is working. At this point, it seems unlikely that this is related to individual community servers. Instead, it appears to be a technical issue on EA’s or the client’s side. A possible connection to the chat or profanity filter system is noticeable: Changing my player name allowed me to use the chat briefly After restarting the game, the issue returned I’m aware of multiple other players currently experiencing the same problem This also affects players with completely neutral, non-offensive names If there have been recent changes to the chat or filter system, they may currently not be functioning correctly and could be unintentionally blocking legitimate players. My questions: Are other players experiencing this issue as well? Are there any known workarounds on the player side? Or is this clearly an EA / DICE issue that requires a server- or client-side fix? Thanks for any feedback or shared experiences. Best regardsSolved2.2KViews25likes91CommentsFreezing every second when in-game however can move the cursor

Hello EA Support team, I would like to report an ongoing issue with the Armory in Battlefield V. For couple of months and maybe even half a year now, the Armory has not been functioning properly — it no longer provides any weekly bundles, skins, or featured offers, even though this feature used to work consistently before. I completely understand that Battlefield V is no longer receiving new content updates from DICE or EA Games, but the Armory system was a core and working feature of the game, and it should still be maintained. Players are still purchasing Battlefield V and additional content, and the servers remain active, which clearly shows there is still a dedicated and active community supporting the game. Not long ago, there was also an issue where the community servers were not working properly, and that problem was eventually fixed — which proves that there are still people maintaining the backend and keeping the game functional. We hope that the same kind of maintenance can be done for the Armory system as well. As large and successful companies, DICE and EA Games have the responsibility to ensure that existing features, especially those that were part of the original paid product, continue to function properly. Even if no new content is being developed, basic maintenance and functionality of in-game systems like the Armory should still be supported — particularly since the game is still available for sale and players continue to spend money on it. At the moment, the Armory in Battlefield V only displays a static screen with the message “NO SHIPMENTS AVAILABLE” (as shown in the attached screenshot). It no longer provides any bundles, shipments, or weekly items, confirming that the feature is completely non-functional. This issue has persisted for several months and continues to affect many active players who still enjoy and support the game. In the name of Battlefield V players and myself, I kindly ask you to look into this problem. Please investigate this issue or escalate it to the appropriate team within EA or DICE. Restoring the Armory’s functionality would mean a lot to the Battlefield community and show that EA and DICE still care about maintaining the integrity of their games. Thank you for your time and understanding. Best regards, BF V1.3KViews19likes54CommentsBattlefield V- Unsued skins, Booster Premium Skin should be added in the store.
Since the game is no longer being supported, they should give us everything thats no longer nescessary. So the Unsued skins, facepaints and etc, should being added in the game's store, EVEN the Booster Premium Pack Skins. Thats not real more sense have it placed as "exclusivity" anymore. One thing i think they should allow in the game or put as option is about we have our own main menu, which we can select our own Faction like it used to be around 2018-2019, bring back the ol blueish background and the old selection of character, when we could place the UK or Germany as faction in the main menu, now the US and Japan are here...so they should allow us select them too, but instead these 2 factions can keep the golden or sunny background, or allow us fully customize it. THATS my thought about, but i think they should do it. And about glitches...they should fix the classic AT rifle automatic glitch which is the demolition grenade (the red one called Hawkins) once dropped, they chould hold still the reload bottom once pickitup and then the semiautomatic weapons become automatic72Views0likes6CommentsBattlefield V closes after EA AntiCheat screen (worked yesterday, no changes)
I’m a long-time Battlefield V player (1,300+ hours) and until yesterday everything worked perfectly. Today, however, the game fails to launch— it always closes right after the EA AntiCheat screen, without any in-game error message. I did not install any new software or change any settings since the last successful launch. Steps I’ve tried so far: Repair/Verify game files in EA App (Library → … → Repair) Clear EA App cache (≡ menu → Help → App Recovery) Reinstalled EA App and Battlefield V completely Repaired EAAntiCheat via EAAntiCheat.Installer.Tool.exe Deleted the Battlefield V folder in Documents and the registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\EA Games\Battlefield V Disabled DirectX 12 (set Dx12Enabled=0 in PROSAVE_profile) Updated GPU drivers and set high-performance GPU Ran System File Checker (sfc /scannow) and applied Windows updates Clean-booted Windows and closed all non-essential apps Checked for interfering applications (antivirus, VPN—currently off) Despite all of the above, the game still shuts down immediately after the AntiCheat splash. Event Viewer errors (Windows Logs → Application, Level 2): attached My system specs: OS: Windows 11 Pro 23H2 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500G GPU: AMD Radeon 6600 XT (driver 25.3.1) RAM: 32 GB DDR4 Storage: BF V on NVMe SSD (50 GB free) EA App version: 13.453.0.5966 I really love this game and would appreciate any help or diagnostics tips. Please let me know if you need additional logs or anything else. Thank you in advance! 🙏1.3KViews1like12CommentsLost Connection
I’m starting to get really frustrated with this issue. At first, it would happen every 15–30 minutes — the game would switch me to offline mode and I’d lose connection. A few days later, it started happening every 10 minutes. Now I can’t go online at all. Whenever I try to connect, it won’t allow me, and the game just starts in offline mode. I’ve already reinstalled the game once and tried joining again, but the problem is still there. I don’t have any connection issues with other games — it only happens with Battlefield V. I also restarted my router, but that didn’t help. I’m open to any ideas or help. Thank you! (:60Views0likes3CommentsAMD Radeon Driver Version 0.0.0.
Hello I would like to summarize all the steps I have taken regarding the Battlefield V driver issue. Since the last time I was able to play Battlefield V successfully, I have not made any hardware changes or installed any new software. The only regular change I make is updating my AMD drivers to the latest version. Here are the troubleshooting steps I have completed Used Display Driver Uninstaller DDU in Safe Mode to fully remove AMD drivers and performed a clean installation Installed multiple AMD driver versions including the latest and several older stable versions Verified game files through Steam and the EA App Completely reinstalled Battlefield V Edited the device driver version in the Windows registry as suggested in community forums Forced the game to use the dedicated GPU Checked Windows updates and the system is fully updated Restarted EA App and Steam multiple times and cleared cache Ran the game as Administrator Disabled overlays including EA Steam and AMD Adrenalin Checked BIOS graphics related settings Despite completing all these steps the same driver error still appears and the game does not launch. I have invested over 200 hours into this game and spent money on in game content so it is very frustrating that I cannot access it anymore. I also noticed that many other users are reporting the same issue online so it does not seem to be an isolated case. I would appreciate further investigation into this issue. Thank you53Views0likes1Comment
