Why Monday release?

Not sure what the thinking is here. For me, a Battlefield fan since the original, I have to sit back as a human being that has responsibilities as a father and provider (don't live in my parents basement) and wonder why they'd choose to release on a Monday as opposed to say a Friday? I understand that in a week this wont matter to most, but still, I work for a living and my kids go to school. It's not like we're going to be able to play BF5 this week. This week/weekend coming up is Thanksgiving with a couple days of family stuff and shopping, which leaves most of this coming weekend relegated to those plans. In other words it'll be two weeks before I think about purchasing BF5 whereas had it been release on the 16th we'd have been playing all this weekend. What I'm asking I guess is why do this? It's going to give you less than favorable or askew the numbers. Sorry guys, but after the Battlefront 2 debacle on PC, I'm already apprehensive. Looks like I'll be waiting to purchase until "after the fact" reviews are out now that I have the luxury of time. My advice, don't drop the ball on this one please?!
