They don't technically have to hand out the cheater/ban statistics so they are gonna remain silent on the matter - They're well aware of the situation though and wanna make sure it doesn't happen with BF6.
As far as I know, they are handled as they come but I'm sure there are special cases thrown into the mix; the sheer amount of reports they get must be mind-boggling. Other titles like NHL and stuff have received new measures to filter/organize reports so I can only assume BF will get its own version down the line as well.
It's not like Battlefield is the only game with cheaters but I understand your frustration - all we can really do is hope for something better down the line.
It's gotten to the point where the whole forum becomes a toxic echo chamber - locking cheater threads is the easiest solution to declutter the forums as they have already stated their intentions numerous times.
Name and shame is against ToS to help protect everyone in case problems (mostly legal) were to arise -- Yes I understand most evidence is blatant and clear, but so many users get falsely accused and it can open both the accuser and EA to defamation charges (among others) for example.
