[Xbox One] Trial Player Bug with EA Play

I installed Battlefield V for free with EA play as part of Game Pass for my Xbox One S, but when I try to play the multiplayer, I am told that I am a trial player and need to upgrade the game to access the content. The campaign works fine, and I don’t have this issue with any other EA Play title, including other Battlefield games. I contacted EA support yesterday, was told that my issue would be reported as a bug and would be fixed, but I am still getting the same message. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, changing my home Xbox settings, and restarts & unplugs to my console. Nothing has worked. How can this issue be resolved? My Xbox Gamertag is JDAWG9.

@XD-DAWG11 This is something Xbox Live support would need to help with unfortunately. The trial status will need to be removed on their end.

  • I recommend reaching out to Xbox Support and ask them to remove the trial status for Battlefield V @XD-DAWG11

  • @EA_Atic I contacted Xbox Support and I was told that my issue is with Battlefield V itself and I should contact EA support, which I’ve already done. EA support never fixed the issue after saying it was a bug and they would fix it. I’m just going back and forth at this point and it’s really frustrating.
