Can’t reject a contract in dynasty mode

Hi,

I just wanted to raise that when offered a 1 year contract in Dynasty mode you are then stuck with that team and can not view available jobs. 

I was playing as Ole Miss and wanted to leave (I’d accidentally destroyed them and needed a fresh start 😭) but they kept offering me a 1 year contract, and there was no way for me to then leave because the offer was automatically accepted, so I could not view/apply for open jobs on the next continue.

steps to reproduce;

1. Be offered a 1 year contract

2. Select “contract offered”.

3. Observe there is no option to decline the contract.

4. Continue once to the next week.

5. Observe the user can only view the coach carousel, and not job offers because the contract has been automatically accepted.

other than this, loving dynasty and my first taste of CFB!

    Confirming this, but also want to add that this has been an issue since release date, it wasn’t new as of this patch.

    Sometimes you’re offered a 2 year contract extension, but if not, you’re locked into your team permanently due to one year extensions and job offers not appearing those years when a contract is extended. It’s utterly game breaking at the moment.

    Summarize your bug In dynasty mode, the initial contact is extended in year three. There is no option to decline the contract. In contract extension years (including year three) you will receive NO job offers from other schools, locking you into the job for another year without any choice.
    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a dynasty, sim to year 3 when contract is extended, you will receive no job offers. IF you are given a 1-year extension, you will be permanently locked into that school as every year will have the same glitch.
    What happens when the bug occurs? You get no job offers so you're stuck at your current school for another year.
    What do you expect to see? Multiple things.

    1- the ability to decline a contract extension and become available to other programs.

    2- the ability to receive job offers from other programs in contract extension years

    3- to not just receive job offers, but to also have the ability to "apply to" or "express interest in" any open position.

    Also worth noting that the job offers that do come in are insanely limited, impossible to be promoted from OC/DC to HC at the same school, and never come from your coach's Alma Mater. I chose App state as my Alma Mater hoping to develop my coach at a big school and gain quick XP before taking the HC job at App State. So far, App State has fired their coach twice in my dynasty and I didn't receive an offer either time despite having won 4 national championships.
