Custom Schedules Are Broken
I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem, but me and the other person I play the game with are both having it take place almost constantly. We both play on PS5s. Essentially, after the first season in dynasty, the game stops allowing you to change anything on your schedule. No matter how big or small the change, it does not meet “required criteria.” Move a bye week? Not allowed. Switch a game to be home or away? Missing requirements. Schedule someone instead of another FCS school? No, you will play the Pandas and you will like it. It always offers for the schedule to be auto-fixed, but when I try that, it gives me another error saying the command failed. Every time. Out of 4 dynasties, only one of them has allowed schedule changes without this error.
This happens with online and offline dynasties. It genuinely makes dynasty significantly less enjoyable. My auto-generated schedules sometimes stack most of my home games at the start of the year so then my recruits have nothing to visit for when I really need to win a battle. Or I’ll be given no ranked teams so it’s almost impossible to take a small school to a high rank. Or I’ll just not have rivalry games. I don’t know what’s causing this issue, but it’s making dynasty less enjoyable. I’ll link a video of me making a small change, it not working, and then the auto-fix command not working either:
