Dynasty Custom Schedule Error

I am currently at the start of my second season in a Dynasty (Playing as Toledo) on PS5. I was able to have a custom schedule in the first season when I started on 7/16. Today (7/17) I finished the first season and have the option to have a custom schedule in season 2. No matter what I do (Change a scheduled game to open, change a scheduled game to an FCS opponent, change a scheduled game to a non FCS opponent, click the stick to regenerate the whole schedule)

I get an error that says There are user teams whose schedules don't meet the desired requirements. How would you like to proceed?

I select OK then am given three options, Continue Editing, Auto-Fix Schedules, Discard Changes. 

If I select Auto-Fix Schedules, it says The command failed. Please try again.

I also noticed that if I change one game (week 1 in my case) that was already scheduled against a team to a bye, then try to save it and get the error and try to Auto-Fix, then try to schedule an opponent in week 0 (or any other week), it will randomize all of the schedule and still not work. 

I have tried to cycle my playstation and that did not work. 

I also started a new dynasty and it allowed me to Customize the schedule in year 1.

These games do not count as a conference game once completed.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Progress to season 3 of a dynasty and create schedules using custom conferences
What happens when the bug occurs? Games that are scheduled just count as regular games in the standings and not conference games
What do you expect to see? No games other than conference championship games should be scheduled for that week

Custom Schedule Creation Error:  After customizing conferences, when I try to edit schedule, even just one team, even if that team is a FBS - It then says requirements aren't being met and you can only discard all changes.

So I ran into this same error last night. I got it to work but I had to play around with it a lot. Basically, you have to change each week and save each time to see what is causing issues. There are some games where if you try to change from a CPU to a user, it will give you the error. For me, I had to change from the CPU to another CPU, then open it, then change to a user. In some cases, it would only let me schedule that specific user if I did it from the other user's side. Some times I would have to change a specific week's CPU game to another CPU game, then open it, then move it to another week where I had wanted to schedule vs a user. I would have to schedule a CPU in that new week. Then open it again and do the same for the other user team to that week. Then it would let me schedule the two. I know this sounds confusing but essentially you have to fiddle with it and try to save after everything you do to either get results to stick or determine what scheduling changes it isn't liking. 

Good tip.  I will make sure I do this.  I already had to delete a dynasty because of a conference realignment bug.  I don't want to have to do that again.

Still did not work for me.

It wouldn’t allow me to even do a week at a time. I tried that. When you try the auto fix it just gives you an error message. You have to discard and keep schedule. 

I literally have the EXACT same problem, using Toledo, custom conferences, worked year 1…

Ive tried literally everything I could think of. There has to be a bug with custom conferences and scheduling. Works year 1, but error message every year after that. Has anyone tried just starting a dynasty with whatever team, dont touch custom conferences, customize your schedule, sim thru season 1, then see if you can schedule season 2? Thatll tell you if it has to do with custom conferences or not. Hope this makes sense. I know it doesnt fix the problem but might be a temporary fix until EA decides they wanna fix it

UPDATE: Tried what I mentioned above and it worked. Theres a bug with custom conferences. Sucks that I cant rebuild the PAC 12 or take my team into a different conference, but it is what is until EA fixes whatever bug it is. So just pick your team and dont touch conferences unfortunately

I had this bug too - in addition, at the end of the season I realized I had played an extra conference game due to the messed up scheduling, which would explain the initial error.
