Favorites in Custom Playbooks not saving
I’ve tried multiple times to create a favorites list in a custom book and 40+ plays are missing. I’ve tried creating a new book and under a new save file and the same issue keeps happening.

Same. Seems like everytime you set them, then change a game mode half of them disappear! So annoying. Anybody find a fix for this??
There are multiple things in this game that don't save properly
Custom playbooks aren't the issue. Some plays/formations just flat out won't favorite game to game.
I dare anyone to try favoriting a play in the 33 dbl mug on defense, and see it in favorites the next game.
Correct, it has nothing to do with custom playbooks. I have tried to favorite a play in custom and again with a team specific playbook, half to over half of the ones favorited disappear when starting another game. Frustrating to say the least.
There are a bunch of shotgun formations that also won’t show up in the custom playbook. Same thing happens with the 3-3-5 formation defense

Nope, not yet.
Same issue, some plays are not saving game to game as favorites with the Oregon playbook
