In game depth chart issues

What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
Which mode has this happened in? Dynasty
Summarize your bug Substitutions don’t make sense
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a game in dynasty (at least as Penn State)
What happens when the bug occurs? Depth chart is not being followed for Penn State when making changes at HB in game… starter remains in even after change is made. Furthermore, autosubs will substitute in the 4th string player when the starter becomes tired.


Then this morning, I also had the game mass sub for both offense and defense after I was up 42-0 at the half. That’s great (it’s what I would have done), but I feel like I should have made that decision as the coach rather than it being made for me. 

What do you expect to see? I expect to see the decisions I make about who is on the field actually executed.

This is a particularly frustrating issue given wear and tear. I can’t give a breather to my best players

    Yes! My HB1 was getting 50+ carries because I couldn't replace him. He's very worn and torn. I put him 3rd in the depth chart, he stayed in. I took him off the depth chart. He stayed in. I changed Auto Subs to sub out at 95, and he stays in, despite being at serious risk for injury.

    He finally started coming out for a few plays, but I have no control over it.

    The game ignores my depth chart, insists on playing and pulling players of its own volition.

    i want to start a freshman receiver. No, you’re going to have the slower senior, even though you’ve completely removed him from the depth chart because the senior is one point higher overall.

    - Also likes to substitute players I’ve redshirted.

    - Mass substitutions would be nice, but if I have to go through a manually substitute EVERY position, it would be really nice if the game recognized my efforts.

    Update: I did find some success on the HB front at least. Might be one of those situations where those of us who haven’t played Madden are out of the loop… further down the depth chart there’s 3rdrb. Making a swap there puts my intended HB in for most formations. Looks like there’s also a pwrrb for goaline, etc.
