Local Dynasty Coop, Kicking and Player Assignment

Is anyone else having trouble in local dynasty coop play? The game won’t assign player 1 to QB and when it comes to kickoff, the kicker just stalls and never kicks the ball ending in the kicking team getting the ball back. As well as field goals just being auto kicked. Is there a fix one can do to get the game to play normal again or do I have to wait until a bug fix update.

It’s been going on for about 2 months now for time reference. When the game first came out this also was not an issue to my knowledge.
