You don't lose them, you just can't change positions at the normal time. The CPU will auto-assign any ATH to a position. You can't see them or change their positions until AFTER the "Encourage Transfers" stage

When I waited and then went to change position for players it made everything I changed incredibly low. My QB during the position change portion said he was an 86 hb but I waited till I could see my entire roster. Now it says his is a 58 hb.

I have to imagine it was an un-intended screw up. It's not mentioned in the Patch Notes, and I can't think of any logical reason doing it this way makes more sense than the way they had it setup initially.

EA really screwed the pooch on this one.

I was in the position change week before update, and now none of my incoming freshman class is in there. so all the Athletes, not to mention it was the #4 ranked recruiting class. IF i move forward, do i lose those freshmen? Is that what you are seeing?

You don't lose them, you just can't change positions at the normal time. The CPU will auto-assign any ATH to a position. You can't see them or change their positions until AFTER the "Encourage Transfers" stage

is that a new "feature" after the upgrade? I'm trying to rebalance the team, but not sure where I should move people.

Thank you, that worked for me, I was a little nervous moving to next stage for fear they would be gone, but they are there.

If you're playing a solo league, make a backup save of your dynasty. That way in a situation like this, you could advance the week but if something goes wrong, the game will autosave over your backup, and then you can re-load your original file.

Where? You can see them in the Encourage Transfer Stage, but I don't see a way to change their positions.

So they do auto assign, I guess to the highest rated position they have. You can change them the next year. I did try to change a RT to LT under edit player, but the player lost 5 points, which doesn’t happen in the "change position" stage.
