Play a Friend / Online Dynansty: Cannot pick my team when friend joins lobby

Which mode has this happened in? Dynasty
Summarize your bug When playing PAF or Dynasty versus a friend, right when my friend joins the lobby, my team selection auto-flips to the opposing side, not allowing me to pick my team (PAF), nor allowing me to ready up (Dynasty). The only thing I can do when my friend joins the game, is only manipulate his team playbooks, uniforms, and ready up, but the ready does not register on his side.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have uninstalled, reinstalled 2 times. First time it actually worked, for about 3 days, but have wiped all data from it as well 5 times.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot select my team, and the red controller icon, signifying my player, flips over to the other side. Does not show 2 controllers at all. Friend has 0 problem. I can play road to the college football playoff perfect. Because I can select my team before anyone joins my lobby. Only when we have to both select teams and/or readying up is when the error occurs.
What do you expect to see? I expect to play the game as intended against my friend. Cannot even start the game due to this bug. Can play everything entirely offline.

It says either unsupported file type or just does not allow me to submit. Not saying max video size like I was getting before

I have a friend who's having this exact same problem, we are also trying to help him figure this out.

My buddy and I are in year 4 of our online dynasty. We're in the same conference and have only been able to play each other once. Since the update whenever we join the game to play against each other, he can't choose his team. He shows up on my side and is able to click Ready but cannot do it under his team. When I click ready we just sit there. We've now had to sim 3 games against each other (2 regular season games and 1 conference championship). Now we're head to head in the National Championship game and the same * is happening where he cannot select ready under his team. Wtf is going on? Can this be patched please? This issue is ruining the dynasty and making us not want to play the game anymore. Please help!!!

I am having the exact same issue. Haven’t been able to play online with my friends for days now.

I need someone from EA to please look at this please. This game is unplayable and I spent $100 for early release. Xbox cannot help me, this is solely an issue with this game on the new update.

IF YOU HAVE A HEADSET THATS WIRELESS THAT HAS A USB THAT PLUGS IN START THE GAME WITH YOUR HEADSET OFF JOIN A PLAY A FRIEND GAME THEN TURN YOUR HEADSET ON
