Me too - I have a 91 overall TE go down to 71 overall. Players in mid 60s I noticed have dropped a couple overall points too.
Note: the stats have not dropped, stats are still the same, just the overall displaying on both depth chart/roster + player card are impacted
Further observation: star players still retain their star even if dropping from 91 to 71. Definitely just a display issue of overall
This just happened to me as well. I found it happened after I edited a couple new recruited players in a new season. All the player tendencies changed for every player on my roster. OVRs all changed, mostly went down, but individual attributes seem to be unaffected. Wondering if this is a new bug with the patch that went through this morning, though admittedly I only just started my second season in dynasty, so I wouldn’t have seen it up until now anyway.
One solution change their positions when u get to that part and switch them back you should see their true rating
The solution would work but I didn’t notice it until I set up my depth chart after position changes were done now I’m to the part where I customize my schedule and select recruits so I can’t edit the players or switch positions. I’m thinking it’s because of the patch this morning because it was all good until after that.
Does EA ever acknowledge these threads or anything. They are acting like the patch they put out yesterday was so great and helped so much but for myself it completely broke the game. Even when I do the change the position and then switch that player back to the original position it makes them a lower overall than what they were in the first place. Like for instance I took my TE who was a 73 overall and switched him to wr then immediately back to TE and now he’s a 63. So in all reality there isn’t really a fix for this issue. EA PLEASE FIX THIS!
