Re: Couldn’t resolve host name white screen PS5

Hey @mxweII

To check, have you tried the following steps to see if they help?

  1. Make sure you have the latest software update.
  2. Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
  3. Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
  4. Perform a power cycle.
    • Touch the power button on the front of the console for at least seven seconds until the system beeps twice.
    • Turn it back on after one minute.
    • Launch your game.
  5. Restore the license for the game.
    • Go to Settings on your PlayStation.
    • Click Account Management then Restore Licenses.
  6. Enter Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database
  7. Reinstall your game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal drive to see if that helps.

I reset my cache from the safe mode menu and that seems to have fixed the issue where the screen turned white on start.

It is continuing to make me sign in/verify my account each time I open the game
