This issue is still not resolved despite latest update.  When playing RTG mode, unable to earn skill points in games & practice.  Can only level up by using energy points.  Beyond frustrating that this mode of the game does not work.  Have tried as three different times now and same result.

I can finally get points after games. But practices are a waste of time still! 

pro tip. Move the XP slider all the way to the right, play 15 minute quarters and put up god like numbers. That’ll get you 2 or 3 Talent points a weeks. 

I think the reason that works is because whenever you get exp from a game, it's applying that exp to what you had at the start of the week, regardless of what exp you get from weekly actions.  So if you go up a skill point, you're really gaining the same skill point that you already got from the weekly action, which is why it's not counting.  By doing this, you're probably still not getting the first from all that exp, but you're leveling up so much that you're getting the other skill points past the one you got from any weekly actions.

Summarize your bug I am not receiving most skill points I'm earning. I can't advance my character, making the mode completely unplayable.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Give me the actual skill points I earn so I can actually play the game
What happens when the bug occurs? I level up. It says I got a skill points. But it doesn't actually give it to me.
What do you expect to see? A fix?! Game has been out for months.

Please fix

I'm earning them the normal way by filling up my exp bar.  It fills up, says I've gotten +1sp but doesn't actually give ot to me.  I use both weekly energy and the exp from games.  

Currently experiencing problems where the only way to gain skill points is by spending energy in weekly agenda. Any other time I complete a game or training and it says I got a skill point, the game doesn’t register it. This needs to be fixed immediately, because until it does, playing RTG is pointless

Summarize your bug Every time I level up and I'm 'awarded' skill points, I don't actually receive them. This makes it extremely difficult to upgrade my player and has rendered the game mode unplayable, in my opinion.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a Road To Glory, play a game, or do whatever you need to level up and 'receive' a skill point, and then you will see that the skill point you just received was not actually given to you.
What happens when the bug occurs? I level up, the game awards me a skill point, when I exit the level-up screen I see how many skill points I have, and when I do, I don't have the skill point I supposedly just gained.
What do you expect to see? I expect to level up, be awarded a skill point, and for this skill point to actually be given to me so that I can upgrade my player.

Hi

I have created multiple RTG careers with RBs and QBs and whenever I gain a skill point through training or playing a game it shows the graphic but does not show in my balance, it only shows when I spend energy of my weekly balance.

Does anyone else experience this and can this be fixed? 

It's a known issue that EA claims they fixed, but after another update, still haven't.  I don't know why they're wasting their time on other RTG fixes when this game-breaking one still exists.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Literally just play the mode for 5 min. You've fixed all sorts of things except the stuff that is game breaking. I've been waiting for this mode to be fixed for months.
What happens when the bug occurs? Says I have received a skill point but I don't actually get then.
What do you expect to see? A fix. This is why I stopped buying your games. Thought this one would be different. EA is cooked.

For the love of all that is holy fix this game.  This will be the last EA game I ever buy.  Haven't bought madden, nhl, or ufc in years because you have so many game breaking bugs you don't care to fix

Summarize your bug Im playing as a Man to Man CB in road to glory. The only time I receive skill points is if I use energy to level up. If I pass the threshold to earn a skill point in a game AND/OR in practice. I don't receive the skill point and the bar resets. Super frustrating especially for this position because of all the negative impacts you get and negative points. Im not sure if it happens with any other positions but when CBs don't touch the ball every play like HBs or QBs it makes it very difficult to do anything. Even if I close out of the game and go back in it still doesn't give me skill points without using energy.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In Road to glory as a cornerback. Play a game or a few to level up your XP to earn skill points and it doesn't give you any.
What happens when the bug occurs? The blue bar goes back to the very end and I don't receive any skill points.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the bug fixed asap because it's very frustrating how I can play any other position and upgrade quick because of faster XP just cuz I touch the ball more.

@EA_Illium the issue is when your XP goes up from using the activity, the XP you gain from playing a game is added to what you had at the beginning of the week instead of after the activity so when it shows you getting a skill point, it's really the same one you already got.  E.g. if you have 0 points and get 1000 from a weekly activity, then get 1000 from a game, you should be at 2000, but it adds the game XP from 0 again so you're still at 1000.
