Road to Glory RB almost unplayable

Same thing is happening to me, my 2 time heisman winner so far 89 overall RB barely plays.. what kills me is I'm down a score or 2 and breaking a 20+ yard run my first play after being on the bench for the last quarter and a half, get the ball across midfield and I'm back out until 2 minutes left in the 4th qtr and it's basically a guaranteed loss. It's absolutely ridiculous. If I don't consistently 50+ yard runs there's no way to even get close to the heisman or POTW or anything.
