Switching players on defense is unpredictable

What type of issue do you have? Pressing the player switch button does not go to the logical player
Which mode has this happened in? Dynasty
Summarize your bug: I start the play as a defensive end, if my player gets blocked and another player gets through the O-line, I will press the player switch button (O on PS5) and instead of being taken to the player nearest the QB, it will switch me to a random defensive back. 
How often does the bug occur? About 50-75% of the time
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play defense, start as edge rusher, then attempt to switch your player. It won't always go to who you expect.
What happens when the bug occurs? Player switching on defense is illogical and highly unpredictable.
What do you expect to see? The same player switch logic used in NCAA 14- it would always simply take you to the player nearest the ball.

Sometimes it switches unexpectedly to a DB at the snap. I'm pretty sure I didnt.even try to switch players at all. When you think you're on the DL and it switches to a DB on the edge, you've immediately blown the coverage.

Seeing this at least a few times per game on PS5 dynasty 

Yeah this is awful. D lineman closest to the QB a dive away from a sack switch players and it goes to a defensive back. Wtf is that? It’s complete garbage coding. Only time you should switch to a dback is in the ball is in the air of that guy is actually the closest to the ball carrier. 

it’s like that put the minimum amount of effort into this game and are only doing the things they should have if we complain about them. Why is EA Studios such trash?

I’m having the exact same problem, try switching lineman mid play and it switches to a DB and they score an easy TD. EA please fix this!!!!
