Summarize your bug Players that enter the transfer portal do not get a boost in ratings during the offseason.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Progress to the offseason and win a recruiting battle over a transfer portal player. Then go to the part of the offseason where we look at player rating increases.
What happens when the bug occurs? You will not find any transfer portal player you brought in to this developmental stage. Essentially throwing away a year of progress for this player. For example, you bring in an 81 ovr QB through the transfer portal entering his junior year. You would expect that after offseason workouts and results that they would get better since they just spent their year playing and training. Instead, they stay at that 81 ovr. So a player you expected to become a major part of the team going forward looks more like a potential waste of a roster spot.
What do you expect to see? An increase in ratings comparable to what you would expect for other players in your own team. The player still played a year of college football, probably significantly, and would still have trained under college coaches. There should be progress.
