Already shared this, but...
Things I am excited about:
Getting to create the schools (FINALLY)
Uniform, helmet, field, and crowd customization
Things I am disappointed about:
Not being able to determine my Teambuilder school's My School grades (You could in the old version, why not now??), determine my school's Pipeline, coaching staff, or especially, SET MY OWN RIVALS.
Not having several different sizes of generic stadiums. No one wants another school's branding on their stadium
Not being able to edit your player names on your school's roster on the website. C'mon, man.
Sorry to those of you who have already seen me post this, but now that there is an EA Community thread...
No player editing.... is a deal breaker.... EA owes me 160 dollars... I will not be play this game without player name editing... and Ill be thousands of others WILL agree. COME ON....EA.... you tanked this one BAD!

So according to the YouTuber Bordeaux (he has a video just posted of him getting to test out the new Team Builder) he said that you CAN edit player names, just not on the website. You do it in the game.
So while not as convenient, you can still do it.
So maybe calm down? I find it hard to believe you spent $160 purley for the ability to change player names.

Yeah and I have to believe that since we have to be online for Team Builder...bcuz offline seems to be NOT an option unfortunately...I'm guessing it's so that they can control what names we edit to, so we then can't use NIL names? That's gotta be why, guess we'll find out
- 2 years ago@bribribri424242 I'm assuming so,
Also let's them use their built in profanity filters

I've created my team, downloaded it online and there's no option to edit the roster at all.....

you gotta start a cloud dynasty, import the team, and then edit the players through roster view>player card. I think it's under the option all the way to the right.

I have to agree with you. The inability to do that is unacceptable! It was a huge part of the game and why we can’t do it now is beyond me. The fact that we don’t have a regular CAP for us to put players on any team we want is absurd!

Nah, the rest of us don't care. AND it was well known that player editing isn't a thing on this game, WELL before release. And what the heck did you pay 160 dollars for?

Completely agree!

You should have known that before you bought it. It's about player likeness. The player's gave EA permission to use their name and paid each of them $600 to do so. You can't edit names because of this very same reason. EA wasn't given permission to use other's name's therefore they took that ability away from the user as well.

This is a cute theory until you play Madden and can do all these things.

Madden is completely different since it goes by NFLPA and not individual player
