With my custom Team Builder dynasty, before the Aug. 8 update, I could always - for whatever reason, 100% of the time - click into my game matchup once and only see the original uniforms. If I backed out of the matchup (back to the dynasty hub, not exiting the entire dynasty) and clicked the game again, my recently downloaded updated uniforms would appear, replacing the old ones, and then be good to go for the game. After the Aug. 8 update, that workaround hasn't worked.
It's nice to see that the overwritten new uniforms were usable, but I'd just love for the overwriting to work by default. I only made two relatively simple uniforms in my first build and I'd create more alternates/make more edits if I knew my team could consistently use them in dynasty.
I also selected an off-white color as my primary, which renders much of the white text in the game illegible, and it wasn't clear to me at the time that the stadium's mascot would come with the stadium of the team you selected. Another thing I'd love to edit!
I noticed the exact same thing before the August 8th update - I had updated the team on the website, and re-downloaded from the Download Center to overwrite the original file, and the updated uniforms/field showed up in the next game I played in dynasty which happened to be the final game of the year. Since the update though, the team has reverted back to the original design despite multiple attempts at re-downloading.
Does this still work? I have an existing dynasty with some buddies and we are fixing to start year 3. I really don't want to have to restart a dynasty just to update jerseys and field.
