@TurkeySloth Its definitely an outright lie. I don't have the screenshot saved but multiple people have posted it, before the game was released EA said it would be available for online and offline dynasty. They didn't just say offline use. It said dynasty. Also, not disclosing that it requires a paid subscription (regardless of whether people should know about ps plus), is incredibly easy grounds for a lawsuit. Wouldn't be surprised if someone is going at this already.

I can say that if they don't fix this, I'll never spend another penny with EA. It was absolutely the main reason I and many other purchased the game. It was advertised as being part of the game and is absolutely responsible for at least some of the sales.
Madden is the same crap every year. I do buy it every few years just so friends and I can have updated rosters to play in our franchise, but NCAA was always a favorite in the past to play offline with multiple created programs. The fact that they've stolen that from me despite everything leading up to the release said I'd be able to do that again is absolute BS.
And it's interesting that they've not once actually addressed this. They've certainly never denied that it was used as a selling point.
