Non-customizable aspects of Teambuilder school

Question

"Regardless of whether or not you replace the roster, your Team Builder team will inherit some of the characteristics of the team it’s replacing. This includes their rivalries, their coaching staff (unless you decide to bring in a new coach), their My School grades, and their team records."

The team records and rivalries were the case in the previous iteration of Teambuilder. Why can we not designate rivalries between other Teambuilder schools? If we replace a team as well as replace their rival with Teambuilder schools, those two Teambuilder schools will then become rivals, correct?

My main issue is "...their coaching staff (unless you decide to bring in a new coach), their My School grades"

Why can we not add the coaching staff when creating the school? Also, the MySchool grades were a part of the website when creating a team on the old website. Why was this removed? It doesn't make sense to me.

Not being able to choose our rivals and MySchool grades is a real bummer. There's almost no chance that I can find a school to replace that has the rival I want, the MySchool grades I want, the pipeline I want all at once.

@LandotheDrummer1 It's gonna be a catch-22 for so many people. Want the rivalry, but not the prestige of the team you need to replace? Too bad!

Replace Kennesaw State instead, and you don't have any chance for a protected rivalry? Too bad!

Such easy customization to be implemented. It seems so dumb to cap our customization on an otherwise very thorough system. We get all of the visuals, but none of the worldbuilding

It's just wild seeing them implement so many new features, but removing so many others that seem so much easier to implement. We could have pretty much gotten the old team builder and have been happy. Instead we get increased uniform customization at the cost of just about everything else that makes our team builder schools feel unique. The fact that pretty much all we're doing is re-skinning an old school is a damn shame.

Right, having their pipeline is also kind of crappy.I also didn't realize that you can't change the names of the players on your roster on the website (but you can in-game?).
