Offline Dynasty Teambuilder

Servers crashed all over the first weekend and today I can’t even load my team builder dynasty because I get the notification of you cannot connect to EA online servers….because they are down again. 

My cupcake team was up 9 on an SEC school w 1:22 to go before the server crashed and I lost it all.

I’ve been forced to play with an offline dynasty because I don’t trust the servers at the moment. 

I agree.  Definitely shady.  Probably the #1 feature everybody wants, teambuilder, got absolutely no information until the game was launched.  Not to mention, the website is buggy as hell.  So they definitely need to fix the online only feature for teambuilder dynasties.

Yes, but having to use those online features for Teambuilder dynasty is definitely EA's fault.  Clearly having it work okay for Play Now means it's possible to not have to pay to connect to EA servers to download Teambuilder for offline means that they could make it work for offline dynasty if they truly were doing this for the fans as they claim.  Having it work without having to pay for the early access period when all the hype was being built and then switching it to having a subscription required seems like EA's fault and is super sketchy.  Not making it clear on any of their pages describing the game on their site is clearly EA's fault and is unethical at best 

I am not sure if having to pay to use online features is EA's fault. I think that is a PS/Xbox thing, but yes, not being able to play offline dynasty with multiple teams is an extreme failure on EAs part.  Guess they don't want content creators to make money off of the game for 11 years if they shut it all down again.

Right now I am playing a dynasty with 4 teambuilder teams.  I had to create kids accounts on my ps5, I then invited them to the dynasty. I just have to switch to each account to play that accounts team.

Why can I turn my internet off and still be able to use my team builder team in play now, but I’m not allowed to use it in offline dynasty? There are 0 reason why we can’t use team builder teams in offline dynasty. If anything it makes more sense on not being able to use them in online dynasty. 

Me too! Makes the game for me. I didn’t buy it yet and probably won’t if I can’t play offline with my teambuilder teams. Hella disappointed in EA for this! 🤦🏻‍♂️

💯 me too! This is a HUGE disappointment for me. Luckily I haven’t bought the game yet and if they don’t add the ability to play offline dynasty with my teambuilder teams I probably won’t buy it.

When I saw the subscription screen, I was definitely thrown off.

If there is any reason at all (besides money) why they are now requiring a PS Plus subscription in order to use a created team in an online, single-use dynasty, I would love to hear it. Being able to work on recruiting while I'm not able to sit in front of my tv and console was useful.
