But from what I’ve read - seen - You will only be able to use Team Builder ONLINE only!
There will be no OFFLINE use of Team Builder ..
No reason was given for this as no reasons are given for the many idiotic things EA does..

Zero issues with online access. If I can edit names, abilities and the like...I will be happy. We will see soon. I saw a work around by grabbing an AI kicker...changing his name and abilities in essence making him into a running back. Returning to the depth chart and moving him from a kicker into my starting RB position. If this is the case...they can keep the game. But, well find out soon enough. I appreciate ALL the comments. As we know much emotion invested in this game.
I hope you're right, but in the picture here from the deep dive, the name doesn't look editable.
I believe the gentleman referencing the fear of legal issues with EA has shut down this option of editing is our best guess for not allowing name editing. However, (for me) this has drained my desire for playing the game. The game is wonderfully made, the graphics are outstanding, the emphasis on the true heart of the game of college football has been truly grasped. However, if we cannot make the game a part of the individual, by adding our personal touches, then it has been emptied of so much the previous games have offered. I had greatly enjoyed ncaa 14 and all those which came before. I am saddened by this.
You can edit all of your players names once you import it onto your consoles and create a Dynasty with them. I was able to go in and change every name on the roster without issue on the PS5, there is nothing to "fix".
You can not do this on xbox. I have tried looking at it for hours last night
But it makes no sense to be able to edit your teambuilder players names for your Dynasty only and not for your Play Now.
It would be waay more logical to allow the editing in the main menu, therefore being able to use new names for play now and for dynasty (and not having to re-edit the correct names you want everytime you start a new dynasty with that teambuilder team)

Yes, you can edit the names, ya'll gotta stop listening to this guy, he doesn't even have the game and keeps making false claims based on "YouTube videos I watched".
STOP WITH THE FALSE CLAIMS.
Once you create a team in Team Builder you go to your consoles and download the team. Then you MUST CREATE AN ONLINE DYNASTY. Once you do that you can import your new team and EDIT ALL PLAYERS.
It's very simple, we just have a lot of people not following through with all the motions needed.
Thats great and all but why cant we edit the equipment? I dont understand the limitations on a fictional created school that we can't even edit a MADE UP roster. It's ridiculous
Agreed. I'm not that too deep into dynasty and I don't think having to go to an entire different mode just to edit players is just not a good idea. Would've been better if you could edit the players in the teambuilder menu on the game. Hope the Devs see this and add it in a update or patch.
Are you able to change appearance once you start the dynasty as well or just name?
Agreed they need to fix this. Not going to buy game unless this is fixed. Pleas fix EA. So many people have waited so long for this.
Can you edit the players faces and equipment as well as their names? And also, after you edit their names, will they be changed when you try to play with your team builder in "Play Now"?
bruh i really don't think this should be marked as a solution. you still can't edit the names on the website, and you can't use edited names offline whatsoever. EA's just gonna ignore this issue now that there's said to be a solution.
Except you can only edit the names in Dynasty and it will NOT be saved for Play Now. There is NO way to edit names for Play Now right now.
Also you need to re-edit the names every time you start a new dynasty
We should be allowed to edit the Service Academies. They do not have NIL players and they do not have long hair and facial hair.

I just recently uploaded a teambuilder and started a new online dynasty. However, when i edit the tembuilder team in dynasty mode, the name and ratings are all grayed out and i cannot edit anything other than equipment.

Same. This is something that recently happened. Is it a bug or something? I downloaded my team builder squad and they are all greyed out. I hate that. Don’t want to be forced to play with those wack generated names. EA is tripping big time.
Dude, this worked 100% 8 months ago when I posted, why do you think EA marked this as a correct answer? If they just broke it through a patch or whatever now that doesn't change the past, it was still correct back then. What happens today doesn't go back in time and retroactively change facts from the past, chill out.
