I wish this would get some attention. I have great internet. I just hate playing online. I especially hate playing online Dynasty. I could not believe they have the disrespect to allow the teambuilder teams in Playnow offline but not in Dynasty. huge slap in the face.

Hi all,
We appreciate the feedback on this.
While I don't have the exact details on why it's set up this way, I can understand where you're coming from. Not everyone wants to play Dynasty online all the time. I can see why it would be frustrating not being able to use the Team Builder for your offline Dynasty. We'll continue passing along your feedback on this to the team.
I can't guarantee this is something that will change, but if we do have any updates to share with you in the future we will let you know.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us here.

Thanks for the response. I just don't understand how I could use Teambuilder in offline dynasty 15 years ago, but I can't now. The only answer I can come up with is EA is trying to nickel and dime us into paying for more stuff we don't want.
- hkyplr111 year agoNew Adventurer@CWO2Ski That’s exactly it, they know how badly people want team builder and they know they’ll get people who just give in and pay for the subscription. The sad part is, they’re already the best selling game of the year, they don’t need to nickel and dime people but they do it anyway. Online gaming and subscriptions have made gaming and most other tech so much worse. Just imagine how much better the games would be if UT wasn’t a thing. There’d be more focus on the actual game to get people to buy. That’s how it was more than 10 years ago.
We all have the nostalgic love for NCAA football because it stopped right as the online, excessive micro transactions era took off. All the other games have stagnated because of it.

@EA_Kent I appreciate the response. Just to clarify, for seemingly many people providing feedback here, it's not just that we don't want to play online all of the time, it's that we're being charged $10/month for a subscription in order to use one of the main advertised features of the game and there's nothing (still!!!) in the marketing page that says a subscription is required for Team Builder (just that an Internet connection is required).

If this doesn't change there is a high likelihood that EA will face legal action over it. It's one thing to create paywalls to features that should be in the base game. That's unethical and bad customer service. It's another thing to actively advertise those features without disclosing that they require additional costs to use. That's illegal. The FTC should have eyes on this, tbh.
- 1 year ago@CommodoreHavoc I sure f****** hope they do. Aside from the fact that they advertised it as available offline and somehow it isn't, decade old game was able to do this and it wasn't nearly as broken as this game either. Pathetic
