Teambuilder Basic Thoughts- Lack of Attachment

Teambuilder is incredibly chuggy on Chrome. Can’t even get it to function well. Takes minutes to load the page to even start.

I understand why you can’t make FCS schools, at least not now, but I think the majority of people who were excited for the feature were excited about bringing real schools from FCS and across collegiate football not in FBS to the game. Sucks you can’t. Understand why it can’t for now. Still sucks.

16 teams is enough perhaps, but the fact you have to replace teams is a letdown. I would love to form one or two new conferences (new conference creation in the future by the way would be nice) and reshuffle some of the lower orders of FBS by including some new schools, but replacing sucks. Doubly so when you just inherit a lot of what makes the replaced school what they are. Feels a lot less like teambuilding and more just like an alternate universe variant of the replaced team as a result.

The fact you can’t use them in offline dynasties is baffling to me. I do not understand why that decision was made.

These three factors come together to make Teambuilder far lesser than it should be. The actual Teambuilder, when I am allowed to use it, is very cool. Not perfect- more options would always be better, does feel more barebones in that regard than the one in the past. But very cool. Sadly, my willingness to slug my way through the choppy Teambuilder to get to the very good stuff underneath is hampered by the twin belligerences of lack of attachment to the possible teams and them not fully feeling like real teams as others do.
