EA said all that to inflate sales. Had they been honest about the game a lot of us would be in wait and see mode and wouldn't have spent money on the piece of crap they presented us. I want to believe that they'll work things out and this game will be worth it, but I don't really care much about Madden. I want this game to function at least as well as the old games did a decade ago. If they can't give me that they'll never get another dime out of me.
The sad thing is, I don't think what most of us are asking for is asking for too much. It's simply wanting the features that made the old games so great to function at least as well as they did back then. So far, they've completely failed in that regard. This game is inferior as a whole to the old games. I was really excited about this game and bought it early and I haven't played a game in days because I'm so fed up with everything.
I can't create a school because their site sucks and doesn't work correctly. Even if it did work, I wouldn't be able to do what I used to do which is create multiple teams and play as them all in an offline dynasty by myself. On top of that, I can't create myself or my friends to be able to recruit like I used to do. Their servers are so trash that even the online dynasty I'm in with my friends has only been played sporadically because most of the time someone can't get on to play their game because the servers are down.
How has EA failed to get the simple basics right? That's truly baffling.
