Things I’d like to see fixed in TB
It’s great having the game along with Team Builder back again. These are a few things I’d like to see fixed or changed with TB.
More customizable stadiums would be amazing and allow for a more personalized stadium to really bring teams to life and make them seem realistic. The field design is great, although I would like to have more design options for the end zones. Choosing from existing stadiums is good but having another school’s logos and signs in your stadium makes it hard for it to feel like it’s truly a home stadium for the team. On NCAA14 there were a few generic stadiums to choose from. I wish they held more people but it at least gave the feel of having a true home field for your team. You could also choose a stadium from a bowl game or a neutral site game to allow for a bigger crowd at home games. as TB is currently set up it’s hard to have true customization outside of just the uniforms. Having a good variation of generic stadiums to choose from that could compete with the capacity of elite real life stadiums would be amazing. allowing the stadium configurations to be customizable would be phenomenal as well although not absolutely necessary.
Another thing is the team accessories and cleats not matching the set team colors. currently my team’s sleeves, gloves, arm bands and cleats are much brighter than the team colors i have set. It seems as if the darkness of the color doesn’t matter. the only way to make the accessory colors brighter or darker is by adjusting the hue. i believe that the accessory color will only be the brightest version of the hue set for the team color and not team color exact.
The last thing is something i expect to be fixed but maybe it’s over looked. I feel that the team name field is somewhat short. I wanted to name my team Atlanta University, but it would not fit. I opted for Georgia A&M but it doesn’t allow me to use the “&” character so i had to settle with Georgia AM.
I am excited to have the game back because college football is my favorite sport and the NCAA series is my favorite game series of all time. Team Builder was a huge part in allowing me to play NCAA 14 from the point of its release up to the release of CFB25. For about 11 years i never stopped playing NCAA14 and Team Builder was a huge part of that. The TB feature means a lot to me and I would love to see it perfected, or as close to perfect as possible. These fixes would make it almost perfect. Also a few more uniform design variations would be nice but as it stands the current designs are more than enough to create a great team to play on the game.
