What is the point of selecting a location for our Teambuilder team?

What is the point of me creating at team in Virginia if I plan to replace a smaller team like Sam Houston or Kennesaw State, but when I replace them the game automatically puts my team in Georgia or ...

@43myboyblue Team builder was a last minute throw in feature brought over from Madden. It was clearly not built for CFB25. My guess is some exec or something made the team force it in and this was the best they could do last min. There was no marketing around this feature at all which tells you it wasn’t part of the planned release. Maybe next year it’ll have some improvements, but that’s a big maybe. When the games moved to the new consoles in ‘06/07 their first releases sucked. Limited customization was one of the biggest things they lacked across all their games, NCAA, Madden, NHL. They all made a huge leap forward the following year. The hope would be that happens again with CFB26 but EA’s track record the last 10 years says they’re not capable of doing so. We will see.

They definitely marketed it: Team Builder Deep Dive Not to mention that it was in (but much better) for several years prior to break after NCAA 14. I think they broke it trying to get it to work for Madden as well. I'm sure they'll fix one little part for next year, call it a new feature, and rake in the cash. Only way to get a quality product out of EA is to refuse to buy their game until it works for real, not just partially.

  Personally speaking I think it is a pretty simple fix in the coding. However, will anyone at EA do it? Doubtful.
