Broken Overtime Rules in Dynasty

Was just in the national semi final and got to the alternating 2-Pt conversions part of overtime.

I scored my 2 point, and stopped the other teams attempt. Then, they were able to get the ball back with four full downs and kicked a field goal to win. Am i extremely, extremely confused with the new OT rules? Has to be a bug.
